Votto went 1-for-3 with one RBI, two runs scored and a walk in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Tigers.

Votto drove in Tyler Stephenson on a single in the third inning for the Reds' first run. He scored later in the inning on Aristides Aquino's home run. In addition, Votto walked and scored in the seventh inning. The veteran first baseman is slashing .272/.372/.549 with 28 homers, 85 RBI and 59 runs scored in 446 plate appearances. He is just two home runs shy of his third 30-homer season in his 15-year career.

Mountcastle is dealing with a sore foot after fouling a ball off it, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.

The slugger is available off the bench Sunday against the Yankees, although manager Brandon Hyde figures to let him rest before returning home for a series against Kansas City. Mountcastle should be considered day-to-day until further notice.

Mountcastle is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Mountcastle sits following an 0-for-5, three-strikeout performance Saturday that lowered his average to .282 in the last 10 games. Trey Mancini is starting at first base Sunday, with DJ Stewart filling in as the designated hitter.

Vaughn is not starting Sunday's game against the Royals, Joel Goldberg of Bally Sports Kansas City reports.

Vaughn has struggled with a .108 average and no extra-base hits in his last 10 games. Jose Abreu is the designated hitter Sunday, with Gavin Sheets getting a start at first base.

Casas went 2-for-3 with two walks, two home runs and four RBI for Double-A Portland on Saturday.

Casas had been in an extended power drought since the middle of July, hitting just one homer over 20 games (66 at-bats), but the Red Sox's No. 1 prospect busted out this weekend. Including the three home runs he belted during Friday's doubleheader, Casas has five in the last two days.

Santana went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Saturday in a loss to the White Sox.

Santana clubbed a 441-foot solo shot in the sixth inning for the Royals' final run. The long ball snapped 35-game streak without a homer for the veteran, during which he batted only .185 with a mere five RBI over 130 at-bats. Santana has recently been dealing with a hip injury, so Saturday's power display could be a sign that he is feeling better.

Wade went 1-for-1 with a double, a hit-by-pitch and a stolen base in Saturday's 6-1 loss to the Dodgers.

The 27-year-old has started in just one of the last four games, as Kris Bryant has settled into seeing most of the at-bats in right field. Wade didn't do himself any favors by hitting .237 across 26 games in August. He could see more playing time in left field after Alex Dickerson (hamstring) went on the injured list Saturday. Wade is slashing .254/.326/.520 with 17 home runs, six stolen bases, 43 RBI and 38 runs scored across 287 plate appearances.

Tellez went 1-for-3 with a run scored in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Cardinals.

Tellez singled off Kwang Hyun Kim in the second inning, which Lorenzo Cain scored on a scoring error. In addition, Tellez scored on a Luke Maile ground-rule double. The 26-year-old Tellez is slashing .261/.329/.463 with seven long balls, 26 RBI and 19 runs in 300 plate appearances with the Brewers.

Diaz went 2-for-4 with a home run, a single, a walk and four RBI in Saturday's 11-4 win over the Twins.

Diaz plated a run with an RBI single in the first inning before smashing a three-run homer off Andrew Albers in the second to bust the game wide open. The production is nice to see from the 30-year-old, as he went 1-for-11 in his first three games in September after he spent his last five games of August hitting .357.

Padlo was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.

Padlo was called up Wednesday but entered just a single game during his time with the team, striking out in his lone plate appearance. He's now gone 1-for-13 with nine strikeouts to start his big-league career.
