Hoskins went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a walk in Sunday's win over the Marlins.

Hoskins opened the ballgame with a bang, doubling home a run in the first inning. The 26-year-old slugger has registered a base knock in four of his past five contests heading into Tuesday's series opener against Detroit.

Olson will begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Olson took batting practice Friday and is now set to take the next step in the rehab process. Assuming everything goes well during his assignment, Olson appears to be on track to return in the middle of May as initially projected.

Cabrera (calf) is not in Sunday's lineup against the Mariners, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Cabrera was expected to rejoin the lineup Sunday, but that is not the case. The Rangers have Monday off, so his return should seemingly be expected Tuesday as the Rangers begin a series with the Pirates.

Bour is batting eighth in the lineup Sunday against the Royals, Maria Torres of the Los Angeles Times reports.

Bour has served primarily as the No.3 hitter for the Angels this season but has struggled at the dish. Through 84 plate appearances, he has hit just .176/.274/.297 with two home runs. Brian Goodwin gets bumped up to third in the lineup in his place.

Dixon is starting at first base and batting fifth in Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Dixon has been seeing fairly regular playing time since getting called up from Triple-A Toledo on April 18, and he's parlayed it into a .429/.467/.571 slash line across 14 at-bats. Dixon could be squeezed for time a bit whenever Christin Stewart (quadriceps) returns from the injured list, but the 27-year-old should still find his way into the lineup most days for the time being.

Cabrera (calf) is expected to return to the lineup Sunday, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.

Cabrera has been out since he left Thursday's game in the second inning. "He's fine," manager Chris Woodward said. "He said he's OK. I just felt like it was better to give him an extra day. He'll play tomorrow." The 33-year-old infielder has missed a few games this season due to minor injuries.

Hoskins went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Saturday's 12-9 win over the Marlins.

Hoskins provided the Phillies with a pair of much-needed insurance runs in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Marlins had scored eight unanswered runs. The 26-year-old is slashing .276/.408/.592 with eight home runs and 22 RBI over his first 26 games of the season.

Alonso went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer in Saturday's 8-6 loss to the Brewers.

The rookie continues to tear the cover off the ball. Alonso is slashing .309/.404/.681 with nine homers and 24 RBI through his first 26 games, and while at some point he'll have to make some adjustments, big-league pitchers haven't been able to find any holes in his swing.

Diaz went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in a 2-1 victory over the Red Sox on Saturday.

The 27-year-old has showcased a lot of power while limiting his strikeouts early this season. Diaz has seven homers but just 19 strikeouts and 16 walks. That's the biggest reason why he's slashing .279/.381/.570. He has also driven in a run in four straight games, giving him 14 RBI along with 17 runs this season.

Rizzo went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, two doubles, two RBI and three runs scored in a 9-1 win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

It's been a slow start to the season for Rizzo, as he's still batting just .220 even after the three-hit day, but this is what the 29-year-old is capable of in the middle of a strong Cubs lineup. Rizzo now has five home runs and 16 RBI this year, and his long track record suggests that the batting average should continue to rise.
