The Rockies reinstated Bryant (oblique) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

Bryant has been on the shelf since June 6 due to a left oblique strain, but after playing in three rehab games with Triple-A Albuquerque, he'll rejoin the Rockies active roster. The 32-year-old slashed .186/.307/.279 in 101 plate appearances with Colorado prior to the injury and should slot into a regular DH role while occasionally filling in at first base. Sean Bouchard was optioned to Albuquerque in a corresponding move.

Rizzo (forearm) went through agility drills on the field Tuesday, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

Rizzo had been limited to weight-room activities as he recovers from a fractured right forearm, but he's finally been cleared for on-field workouts. He'll continue to ramp things back up, with a return sometime in August being the goal.

Rice is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Mets.

It will be the right-handed hitting J.D. Davis handling first base as the Mets send southpaw Jose Quintana to the hill. Rice will yield the leadoff spot to Jahmai Jones.

The Mariners designated France for assignment Tuesday.

France was placed on irrevocable outright waivers Sunday and went unclaimed. The 30-year-old will have the option to accept an outright assignment to the Mariners' Triple-A affiliate or decline the assignment and elect free agency. Although France is having a down year with a .662 OPS through 88 games, he has a solid MLB track record and should garner interest if he hits the open market.

Pasquantino went 3-for-5 with one RBI and one run scored in Monday's 10-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Pasquantino hit an RBI single and scored on a Salvador Perez home run in the third inning. It's been a decent but unspectacular July for Pasquantino -- he's batting .274 (17-for-62) with two extra-base hits and nine RBI over 15 contests this month. He's up to a .252/.312/.419 slash line with 11 home runs, 64 RBI, 43 runs scored, 22 doubles and two triples over 97 games this season as the Royals' starting first baseman. His best asset in 2024 has been a 13.2 percent strikeout rate, which has likely helped him prevent extended cold spells at the plate.

Harper went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Monday's 7-2 loss at Minnesota.

The Philadelphia superstar opened the game's scoring with a titanic 424-foot, two-run homer off Bailey Ober in his first career at-bat at Target Field. After being slowed by hamstring and hand injuries to open this month, Harper is now hitting .242 (8-for-33) with three homers, seven runs scored, seven RBI and six walks in nine July games. Overall, the two-time NL MVP is slashing .297/.395/.578 across 375 plate appearances this season.

Canha went 3-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Monday's 8-2 win over the Guardians.

Canha hasn't really gotten going this season, as he's batting just .236 overall, but he's riding a modest three-game hitting streak and is batting .303 in July. The veteran did miss some time earlier this month due to hip and wrist issues, but he seems healthy coming out of the All-Star break and should continue to see regular playing time for the Tigers.

Busch went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Monday's 3-1 win over the Brewers. He also stole a base.

Busch tallying two hits isn't surprising, as he's batting a solid .270 this season and .313 this month. However, the stolen base is a bit more unusual, as it was just his second of the year and first since May 10. Even without being a threat on the bases, Busch has been a solid fantasy asset, and he should continue to produce given his regular role in the heart of the Cubs' lineup.

Bell went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, two walks and an additional RBI in Monday's loss to the Mets.

Bell took Mets starter David Peterson deep in the fifth inning before adding an RBI groundout in the ninth. The 31-year-old has struggled mightily during the month of July, batting just .136 with two home runs, seven RBI and three runs scored in 15 games.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Monday that Casas (ribs) could be close to turning a corner in his recovery, Ian Browne of MLB.comreports.

Cora was relaying what he was told by a trainer and didn't divulge further details, but it's an encouraging update after the skipper indicated over the weekend that Casas was not close to beginning a rehab assignment. A return timeline still appears very much up in the air for the first baseman, who has been sidelined since late April with a strain and torn cartilage in his left rib cage.
