  • Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: On base three times in loss

Guerrero went 2-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 8-1 loss to the Pirates.

The first baseman continues to make consistent hard contact. Guerrero hasn't gone two straight games without a hit since late April, and over his last 30 contests he's slashing .368/.452/.479. He's still not providing the power expected of him and has just seven doubles and two homers during that stretch, and while he's in the 98th percentile in average exit velocity at 94.2 mph and in the 99th percentile in hard-hit rate this season, an average launch angle of 6.1 degrees -- down from 10.5 degrees last year -- is limiting his fantasy production.

  • Jose Abreu 1B | HOU

Astros' Jose Abreu: Hits first homer of season

Abreu went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-2 win against the Twins.

Abreu took Minnesota starter Joe Ryan deep in the second inning for his first long ball of the campaign. It's been a rough season for the veteran first baseman, as he's slashing a meager .119/.167/.167 through 90 plate appearances. Abreu has been a bit better since returning to the big club May 27 following a demotion to the minors, going 3-for-13 (albeit with six strikeouts) over five games.

  • Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Grand slam in win

Walker went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in a 10-5 win over the Mets on Saturday.

With the bases loaded and two outs in the third inning, Walker hit a grand slam off Sean Manaea to open the scoring. It was Walker's second night in a row with a homer, and he has now reached base in 10 straight games dating back to May 21. That stretch has included four home runs and eight RBI, and Walker is now up to 12 home runs and 38 RBI on the season.

  • Royals' Vinnie Pasquantino: Clubs homer in loss

Pasquantino went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, an additional RBI and a double in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Padres.

Pasquantino twice gave the Royals a lead, first with a first-inning homer and then with an RBI single in the third, but that was the extent of the team's run production. The first baseman is heating up with three straight multi-hit efforts. He's gone 7-for-15 with four extra-base hits and six RBI in that span after batting just .148 with no multi-hit performances over a 16-game stretch. For the season, Pasquantino is slashing .242/.317/.434 with seven homers, 39 RBI, 27 runs scored, 15 doubles, one triple and no stolen bases through 56 contests.

  • Pete Alonso 1B | BAL

Mets' Pete Alonso: Two-run homer in loss

Alonso went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 10-5 loss to the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

Alonso doubled in the first then hit a two-run home run in the ninth off Brandon Hughes. While the game was out of reach, the homer was Alonso's 13th of the year and resulted in his third multi-hit effort in his past nine games. On the season, Alonso is now slashing .239/.315/.477 with 13 home runs and 29 RBI.

  • Bryce Harper DH | PHI

Phillies' Bryce Harper: Launches 14th homer

Harper went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and three total runs scored in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Cardinals.

Harper provided the Phillies with extra breathing room, taking St. Louis reliever John King deep in the seventh inning. Over the previous 10 games, Harper took a small step back, batting .257 (9-for-35) with three home runs and seven RBI to close out May. Following his second consecutive multi-hit game, he's batting .276/.381/.538 with 14 homers, 44 RBI, 35 runs scored and three stolen bases over 54 contests this season.

  • Michael Busch 3B | CHC

Cubs' Michael Busch: Sitting again Saturday

Busch isn't in the Cubs' lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds.

Busch is 4-for-13 with a homer, three RBI and two runs scored in his last six games, but he is likely to see a dip in playing time, as Pete Crow-Armstrong's arrival will force Cody Bellinger to start at first base more often.

  • Nolan Schanuel 1B | LAA

Angels' Nolan Schanuel: Out again Saturday

Schanuel (thumb) is absent from the Angels' lineup Saturday versus the Mariners, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Schanuel was a late scratch from the lineup ahead of Friday's 5-4 loss and he'll once again take a seat Saturday. Willie Calhoun will slot in a first base for a second straight game while batting fourth.

  • Jake Bauers RF | MIL

Brewers' Jake Bauers: Resting versus LHP

Bauers isn't in the Brewers' lineup for Saturday's game against the White Sox.

The White Sox will send left-hander Garrett Crochet to the mound to start Saturday's contest, meaning the lefty-hitting Bauers will watch the beginning of the game from the dugout. Rhys Hoskins will start at first base, with Christian Yelich in left field and Gary Sanchez in as the DH.

  • Joey Gallo LF | CHW

Nationals' Joey Gallo: Sitting down Saturday

Gallo isn't in the Nationals' lineup for Saturday's game agianst Cleveland.

Following an 0-for-3 performance in the first game of the series Friday, Gallo will take a seat Saturday despite the Guardians sending right-hander Ben Lively to the mound. Joey Meneses will take on first base duties instead and bat fifth.
