Busch went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Saturday's 5-3 win against Milwaukee.

Busch helped Chicago get off to a fast start by belting a two-run homer in the first inning. The long ball was just his second of June, though he's hit well outside of the power department with a .310 average over 24 contests. Busch has reached base via hit or walk in 21 of 24 games this month, and two of the three times he didn't do so were contests in which he didn't start.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 9-4 loss to the Reds.

Goldschmidt went hitless in his previous two games, though he's gone 14-for-59 (.237) with four homers and eight RBI over his last 15 contests. The first baseman is up to 11 long balls on the year as his power has slowly returned in June. He's added 33 RBI, 39 runs scored, four stolen bases and 10 doubles while slashing .228/.297/.365 over 79 games this season.

Lowe went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run and a double in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Orioles.

Lowe has four multi-hit efforts over his last nine games, a span that also includes two of his four homers this year. The first baseman has never displayed elite power, but his .369 slugging percentage for the season is low even by his standard. He's at least been fairly consistent at the plate, batting .262 with 27 RBI, 25 runs scored, two stolen bases and 11 doubles over 62 contests.

Alonso went 2-for-4 with a walk, two RBI and one stolen base in Saturday's 9-6 loss to the Astros.

Alonso's steal was just his second of the year, as speed is rarely a factor in his play. He's got plenty of reason to feel optimistic with his performance lately -- the first baseman has gone 15-for-46 (.326) over his last 12 contests while adding 14 RBI in that span. Overall, Alonso is at a .244/.330/.472 slash line with 17 home runs, 46 RBI, 46 runs scored and 19 doubles through 80 games.

Guerrero went 3-for-5 with a home run and six RBI in Saturday's 9-3 win over the Yankees.

Guerrero opened the scoring with a two-run home run off Nestor Cortes in the first inning. He added a three-run double in the eighth and an RBI single in the eighth to finish the day with a whopping six RBI. The first baseman is scorching, having homered in three straight with six consecutive multi-hit efforts. Over those six games, he has driven in a ridiculous 19 runs and is now batting .296 with 13 home runs, 50 RBI and 40 runs scored in 2024.

Mountcastle isn't in the Orioles' lineup for Saturday's game against the Rangers.

Mountcastle will get a day to regroup Saturday after going 0-for-10 at the plate over his last three games. Ryan O'Hearn will fill in for Mountcastle at first base, moving Heston Kjerstad into the DH spot while Colton Cowser picks up another start in left field.

Tellez isn't in the Pirates' lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta.

With lefty Max Fried slated to take the hill for Atlanta, the lefty-hitting Tellez will step out of the lineup Saturday. Connor Joe will get the nod at first base and bat third.

Bryant (oblique) took swings in the batting cage prior to Friday's game, MLB.com reports.

Bryant has rib and oblique injuries and has been sidelined since June 3. He took positive steps Friday, but he remains without a timeline to return to the field.

Bauers isn't in the Brewers' lineup Saturday against the Cubs.

Bauers has now been on the bench for two straight games after hitting a grand slam during Wednesday's win over the Rangers. Rhys Hoskins will get the nod at first base while Christian Yelich serves as Milwaukee's DH.

Toglia went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Friday against the White Sox.

Toglia took Tanner Banks yard in the seventh inning of Friday's game, tallying his third home run in his last four games. He's started 20 consecutive matchups while splitting time between first base and designated hitter. In that span, Toglia has hit .247 with a 31.3 percent strikeout rate, though he's also managed five homers, 15 RBI and 12 runs scored.
