    Wade went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run and a walk in Sunday's 3-2 extra-inning loss to the Dodgers.

    Wade tied the game at 2-2 with his fifth-inning blast. He'd sat out the last two games with the Giants facing left-handed starters in each of those contests. Through 17 games in September, Wade has gone 18-for-52 (.346) with four homers and 10 RBI. The first baseman is at a .262/.376/.428 slash line with 17 long balls, 45 RBI, 63 runs scored and two stolen bases through 130 games this season in a strong-side platoon role.

    Braves' Matt Olson: Four hits in doubleheader

    Olson went 4-for-8 with a double, a walk, one RBI and two runs scored over both games of Sunday's doubleheader versus the Nationals.

    Olson did most of his damage in a 3-for-5 performance in the nightcap. The first baseman has been dialed in at the plate in September, batting .352 (31-for-88) with 10 home runs and three doubles over 23 contests this month. He's up to a .281/.388/.606 slash line with 53 homers, 133 RBI, 124 runs scored, one stolen base and 27 doubles through 156 games overall.

    Marlins' Josh Bell: Homers among three hits

    Bell went 3-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-1 victory over the Brewers.

    Bell popped a 379-foot homer off Freddy Peralta in the third inning for his 22nd of the year. He has enjoyed a nice turnaround since joining the Marlins from the Guardians at the trade deadline, hitting .276 with 11 home runs, 26 runs and 21 RBI over 48 games. Bell had previously hit .233 with 11 home runs, 26 runs and 48 RBI over 97 games in Cleveland.

  • Blue Jays' Vladimir Guerrero: Homers twice in win

    Guerrero went 2-for-5 with two homers in Sunday's win over the Rays.

    Guerrero looks to be back on track after going 1-for-13 in his previous five games. He smacked three homers in three games prior to that. The 24-year-old Guerrero is up to 26 homers and 94 RBI on the year while batting .266 with a .793 OPS through 660 plate appearances.

    Rays' Yandy Diaz: Managing tight hamstring

    Diaz was diagnosed with right hamstring tightness after leaving Sunday's game against the Blue Jays, Tricia Whitaker of Bally Sports Sun reports.

    The 32-year-old went 1-for-2 with a run scored before he exited Sunday's contest with the injury. It's unclear if Diaz will require an MRI at this point, and he should be considered day-to-day heading into Tuesday's series opener at Boston.

    Padres' Ji-Man Choi: On bench vs. lefty

    Choi is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.

    Choi is hitless in 20 at-bats since being acquired by San Diego, and he'll sit Sunday with southpaw Drew Rom on the mound for St. Louis. Garrett Cooper will start at first base and bat sixth.

    Rays' Yandy Diaz: Exits with apparent injury

    Diaz was removed from Sunday's game against the Blue Jays with an apparent leg injury, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

    The 32-year-old went 1-for-2 with a run scored before being lifted with the apparent injury. The Rays have a team day off Monday, so Diaz will have some time to rest up before Tuesday's series opener in Boston.

    Angels' Jared Walsh: Out of Sunday's lineup

    Walsh is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against Twins, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

    Walsh started the Angels' previous seven games but will head to the bench Sunday after he posted a .549 OPS during that stretch. Jo Adell will take over in right field Sunday, batting sixth.

    Angels' Nolan Schanuel: Takes seat Sunday

    Schanuel is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

    Schanuel has reached base at least once in each of his first 26 big-league games but will take a seat Sunday versus Minnesota righty Joe Ryan. Brandon Drury will shift to first base while David Fletcher starts at the keystone.

    Angels' C.J. Cron: Lands on injured list

    The Angels placed Cron on the 10-day injured list Sunday with lower back inflammation.

    Cron's back injury has bothered him all season, and his most recent move to the injured list will keep him out for the rest of the year, as there is just eight days remaining in the regular season. He'll finish 2023 with 12 homers and 37 RBI alongside a .248/.295/.434 slash line through 278 plate appearances. Mike Moustakas (forearm) was reinstated from the injured list in a corresponding move.
