Pasquantino later doubled and scored the go-ahead run in the seventh inning of Tuesday's victory. The lefty slugger is now slashing .259/.320/.458 with 46 extra-base hits and 83 RBI through 124 games this season.

Steer is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Angels.

Steer started the previous nine games and will receive a day off after going 10-for-32 with two doubles, two homers, six RBI and six runs during that span. Miguel Andujar will shift to first base while Matt McLain enters the lineup at second base.

Manager John Schneider said Guerrero, who is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates, was diagnosed with left hamstring inflammation and is considered day-to-day, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

The 26-year-old suffered the injury during Monday's contest, but an MRI showed that he's avoided a serious injury. The Blue Jays have a scheduled day off Thursday, and Guerrero could be held out again Wednesday if the club chooses to play it safe with the franchise first baseman.

Guerrero (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Pirates.

The first baseman was headed for an MRI after exiting Monday's game due to left hamstring tightness, and he'll be held out of the starting nine for at least one contest. Guerrero should continue to be considered day-to-day until the MRI results are announced.

Locklear is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Guardians.

Locklear has now been on the bench for two straight games versus right-handers since Pavin Smith returned from the injured list. While the 24-year-old should operate as more than a short-side platoon bat, it's clear that Smith will put a significant dent in Locklear's playing time.

Wagaman went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run in Monday's loss to the Cardinals.

Getting the start at first base against Matthew Liberatore and batting sixth, Wagaman took the St. Louis southpaw deep in the fourth inning. Wagaman has hit safely in four straight games and homered in back-to-back contests, giving him eight long balls on the year in 417 plate appearances to go with a tepid .236/.285/.369 slash line, and the bulk of his playing time for the remainder of the season will likely come in a short-side platoon role.

Hoskins (thumb) will report to Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday to begin a rehab assignment.

Hoskins progressed to on-field hitting and defensive work last week, and after he experienced no setbacks in his recovery from a Grade 2 left thumb sprain while increasing his activity, the Brewers gave him the green light to play minor-league games. Given that he's been on the shelf since July 7, Hoskins will likely stay on assignment with Nashville at least through the weekend to stockpile at-bats and regain his timing at the plate. Prior to getting hurt, Hoskins had been serving as the Brewers' everyday first baseman, but he may have to settle for more of a part-time role upon his return while Andrew Vaughn (.920 OPS since the All-Star break) has thrived as his primary replacement in the Milwaukee lineup.

Tellez started at first base and went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Monday's 4-3 loss to Kansas City.

Tellez got the call at first base in the Rangers' first game after the team placed Jake Burger (wrist) on the 10-day injured list. Tellez could serve as the strong side of platoon at first base while Josh Smith covers right field in the absence of Adolis Garcia (ankle). Joc Pederson, who was the designated hitter Monday, is also a left-handed bat that could play first base against righties.

Lowe entered Monday's game as a pinch hitter, walked and scored a run in a 6-3 loss to the Orioles.

Lowe pinch hit in the bottom of the ninth inning and was not needed for the field. He was officially added to the roster Monday and wasn't in the starting lineup against a left-hander. Lowe could enter the starting nine Tuesday against Baltimore right-hander Tomoyuki Sugano.

Harper went 3-for-6 with two home runs and three RBI in Monday's 12-7 victory over the Mariners.

The Philadelphia star collected his second multi-homer performance of the season, as he tallied his fifth and sixth homers of the month. Harper blasted a 440-foot solo shot off Seattle reliever Casey Legumina in the sixth before returning in the seventh to crack a titanic 448-foot, two-run long ball, again off Legumina. The former MVP is now slashing .262/.357/.508 with 21 homers, 10 steals, 58 RBI and 56 runs scored across 428 total plate appearances.
