Tellez is not on the roster for the Brewers' NL Wild Card Series matchup against the Diamondbacks.

Jesse Winker (quad/back) essentially made the roster instead. Tellez, 28, slashed just .189/.262/.216 with zero home runs over his final 42 regular-season plate appearances. He hit only one total homer after May 22.

Aranda went 2-for-6 with a grand slam, a double and six RBI in Sunday's 12-8 win over the Blue Jays.

Aranda kicked things off with an RBI-single in the first and followed up with a grand slam off Wes Parsons in the second. He added an RBI-double later on for his sixth run driven in. Aranda only had seven RBI and one home run through 33 games coming into Sunday and finishes the year slashing .230/.340/.368. Overall, the 25-year-old struggled at the plate in limited action, but it was certainly encouraging to see him end the regular season on a high note as he looks to help the Rays make a postseason run.

Olson went 1-for-1 with a two-RBI single in Sunday's 10-9 loss to the Nationals.

Olson drove in Atlanta's first two runs of the game with a single in the first and then was replaced by Nicky Lopez. His base knock extended the modern franchise record to 139 RBI. He led all of baseball in RBI and home runs. The 29-year-old concludes the 2023 regular season slashing .283/.389/.604 and posted his third straight campaign with at least 100 RBI.

Votto was ejected from Sunday's game against the Cardinals for arguing balls and strikes, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.

The 40-year-old started at first base and batted third Sunday in the final game of the season, and potentially his final game with the Reds, but he was ejected for arguing after striking out in his only at-bat. It's an unceremonious close to Votto's 17th season, and he finishes the year with 14 homers, 38 RBI and a .203/.315/.435 slash line in 64 contests.

Steer is not in the lineup for Sunday's game at St. Louis.

Steer had a strong finish to the season with a .942 OPS while starting the past 11 games, but he'll take a seat for Sunday's finale. The 25-year-old has put together a strong rookie campaign with 23 home runs, 15 steals, 86 RBI and an .820 OPS in 665 plate appearances.

Walker is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.

Walker is mired in an 0-for-15 slump and will hit the bench for the regular-season finale after Arizona punched its ticket to the playoffs Saturday. Despite the recent struggles, it's been another strong campaign for the first baseman with 33 homers, 103 RBI and an .830 OPS.

Goldschmidt is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Goldschmidt returned to the lineup the past two games after missing a couple with back tightness, and he'll return to the bench for St. Louis' final game of the year. Barring an appearance off the bench, the veteran first baseman will close 2023 with an .810 OPS, 25 home runs, 11 steals, 80 RBI and 89 runs in 154 contests.

Young was recalled from the Arizona Complex League and is starting at first base Sunday against the Brewers.

The 28-year-old was just demoted Wednesday but will quickly rejoin the big club with Nico Hoerner (knee) ending the season on the injured list. Young has played in 15 major-league games this season and has a .792 OPS with two homers, two steals and eight RBI in 43 plate appearances.

Schanuel is not in Sunday's lineup against the Athletics.

Brandon Drury will move to first base while Eduardo Escobar starts at designated hitter. Schanuel hit .250 with one home run in 19 September games.

Diaz is not in Sunday's lineup against the Blue Jays.

The Rays will give Diaz another day to rest up in advance of the postseason. He has been a little banged up lately, but still managed to hit .345 with five home runs in the month of September.
