Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Out again Monday
Walker (forearm) remains out of the Diamondbacks' lineup Monday versus the Royals.

Joey Votto 1B | TOR
Reds' Joey Votto: Shoulder not ready
Votto's surgically-repaired right shoulder is "not allowing him to be physically able to do the things he needs to do at the plate," Reds manager David Bell told Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer on Monday.
Votto had to be pulled off a rehab assignment earlier this month after "it became pretty clear after that that it was rushed," per Bell. The skipper added that Votto remains "way ahead of schedule" of where most players would be at this point and simply needs more time. He worked out at Great American Ball Park on Monday and will continue to go through drills until the Reds decide he's ready to re-start a rehab assignment.

Joey Votto 1B | TOR
Reds' Joey Votto: Hits on field Monday
Votto (shoulder/biceps) did some hitting on the field at Great American Ball Park on Monday, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.
Reds manager David Bell noted that there's no real change in Votto's status, so it remains unclear when he'll be ready to resume a rehab assignment. Votto was pulled off his initial rehab assignment earlier this month because his 20-day rehab window was running out and he wasn't ready to rejoin the major-league roster. He went 7-for-38 (.184 average) with three extra-base hits while striking out in 46.7 percent of his plate appearances over his 10-game assignment with Triple-A Louisville.

Gabriel Arias SS | CLE
Guardians' Gabriel Arias: Returns to utility role
Arias is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rockies.
Arias recently wrapped up a seven-game stretch in which he made six starts in the infield, but his path to steady playing time has likely closed now that Amed Rosario is healthy again after recently overcoming a back injury. Josh Naylor, Josh Bell, Andres Gimenez, Rosario and Jose Ramirez will continue to make up the Guardians' four starters in the infield and at designated hitter more often than not, forcing Arias to settle for a limited role as a utility man.

Elehuris Montero 1B | COL
Rockies' Elehuris Montero: Moves to Triple-A
The Rockies optioned Montero to Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday.
Montero saw regular duty at third base after Ryan McMahon was moved to second to cover for the loss of Brendan Rodgers (shoulder). However, the Rockies have reverted back to McMahon at the hot corner of late when it became apparent Montero couldn't hack it defensively. Montero's bat has also faded lately as his playing time dwindled.

Luke Raley RF | SEA
Rays' Luke Raley: Goes long Sunday
Raley went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 4-1 win over the White Sox.
Raley got the scoring started for the Rays with a two-run blast off Lucas Giolito in the second inning, keeping the streak alive for the Rays who have now homered in each of their first 22 games. Raley broke a five-game hitting slump and is struggling to a slash line of .188/.273/.479. He has four home runs, nine RBI and a 4:19 BB:K and has solely hit against righties this year.

Vinnie Pasquantino 1B | KC
Royals' Vinnie Pasquantino: Clubs fourth homer
Pasquantino went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Angels.
Pasquantino took Reid Detmers deep in the sixth inning, briefly giving the Royals a 2-1 lead. This was the fifth multi-hit effort of the season for Pasquantino, who has been a steady presence in the heart of the order. The first baseman is slashing .267/.368/.507 with four homers, seven RBI, 10 runs scored and six doubles through 22 contests.

Josh Naylor 1B | SEA
Guardians' Josh Naylor: Reaches base three times
Naylor went 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Marlins.
Naylor had gone an abysmal 2-for-37 over his previous 11 games, though he had a reasonable 5:6 BB:K in that span. The first baseman's steal Sunday was his first of the season. Despite a .185/.267/.277 slash line over 75 plate appearances, Naylor has maintained a regular role between first base and designated hitter so far. He's added two home runs, nine RBI and four runs scored in 19 contests.

Anthony Rizzo 1B | NYY
Yankees' Anthony Rizzo: Adds late homer
Rizzo went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Blue Jays.
Rizzo accounted for the Yankees' lone run Sunday, homering off Adam Cimber with two outs in the ninth inning. Rizzo has gotten off to a great start this year, hitting safely in all but three games to start the season. He's slashing .316/.411/.566 with five home runs, 11 RBI and 11 runs scored through his first 90 plate appearances.
