Clemens went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Royals.

Clemens had been seeing time at first base lately, but he shifted to second Sunday with Spencer Torkelson (head) returning to the lineup. Clemens already didn't have a ton of fantasy value with just a .146 batting average this season, and now his playing time is likely to decrease moving forward, though he should still see some starts as an infield reserve.

Bell went 2-for-4 with a solo homer, a double, two runs and a strikeout in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Marlins.

The Nationals were unable to generate any runs over the first six innings of Sunday's matchup, but Bell hit a go-ahead homer in the bottom of the eighth inning. Although the team was unable to pick up the win, the 29-year-old now has 10 extra-base hits over the last nine games, and he's hit .531 with a homer, a triple, seven doubles, seven runs and three RBI during that time.

Hoskins went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Cardinals.

Hoskins' power surge continued Sunday, as he homered for the fourth time in his last five games. He's hit safely in seven straight contests, going 9-for-24 (.375) in that span while adding three doubles, five RBI and seven runs. The first baseman's surge over the last week has him up to a .257/.350/.500 slash line for the season. He's added 17 long balls, 42 RBI, 44 runs scored, 16 doubles and two triples in 337 plate appearances.

Torkelson went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 7-4 loss to the Royals.

The Tigers were unable to keep up with the Royals offensively Sunday, but Torkelson put Detroit on the board with his fifth homer of the season in the bottom of the fifth inning. The 22-year-old's bat has been quiet recently, as he's hit just .167 with a homer, a double, three runs and two RBI over his last nine games. However, it's been encouraging to see him play in the last two matchups after being hit in the head by a pitch during Friday's series opener.

Guerrero went 3-for-5 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Rays.

Guerrero knocked an RBI single in the third inning before adding an RBI double in the ninth. He went 3-for-22 over his previous five games since his last multi-hit effort June 28. The star slugger still owns a mildly disappointing .267/.353/.497 slash line with 31 extra-base hits and 53 RBI through 79 games. On the bright side, Guerrero posted a .938 OPS with nine homers in June.

Cron went 2-for-4 with a pair of three-run home runs in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks.

Cron brought Colorado all the way back from a 5-0 deficit with a three-run home run off Zac Gallen in the sixth inning and another three-run shot off reliever Noe Ramirez in the eighth. The pair of long balls were the 32-year-old's first since June 18, though the two-hit performance extended Cron's hitting streak to a modest eight games. During the stretch, he's 11-for-32 with two home runs and two doubles.

Mariners manager Scott Servais said France (elbow) won't be activated from the 10-day injured list Monday when first eligible, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Since landing on the shelf June 25 with the Grade 2 left flexor strain, France hasn't resumed hitting on the field, which is a major hurdle he'll need to clear before a potential return date will come into focus. Servais left the door open for France to make it back to action by next weekend, but that'll hinge on how much progress he demonstrates in his workouts over the next few days. Carlos Santana should continue to serve as Seattle's primary first baseman while France is on the shelf.

Flores will start at second base and bat fifth in Sunday's game against the White Sox, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

The Giants included Flores in the lineup in only one of the previous three contests, but he could settle into a full-time role at second base in the short term after Thairo Estrada (illness) was placed on the COVID-19-related injured list. As of Sunday, Estrada is merely symptomatic of the virus and hasn't tested positive, so he could return for the Giants' upcoming three-game series in Arizona if he continues to test negative and if his symptoms begin to dissipate. Even if Estrada makes a quick return, Flores should still be a fixture in the starting nine versus left-handed pitching.

Wade is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox due to a bruised elbow, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

The Giants are viewing Wade as day-to-day with the elbow injury, which he sustained when he ran into the right-field wall on a catch late in Saturday's 5-3 loss. Mike Yastrzemski will pick up the start in right field Sunday in place of Wade, who is viewed as day-to-day.

Mountcastle went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run scored Saturday in the Orioles' 4-3 loss to the Twins.

Mountcastle has now produced a double in three straight games, bringing his total up to 17 for the season. He'll be included in the lineup for Sunday's series finale, manning first base and batting third.
