Christian Arroyo 2B | NYM
Red Sox's Christian Arroyo: Likely out for series
Arroyo could miss the entirety of Boston's series against Minnesota due to hamstring tightness, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
Arroyo exited Monday's game against the Angels due to lower-body cramping, and it now seems that his hamstring is what's giving him problems. If Arroyo is forced to sit out multiple games, Enrique Hernandez and Yu Chang will likely see more time together in the middle of Boston's infield.

Rylan Bannon 2B | NYM
Astros' Rylan Bannon: Gets call-up
The Astros recalled Bannon from Triple-A Sugar Land on Tuesday, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Bannon appeared in four games at the major-league level last season, going just 2-for-14 at the plate in that time. He's fared a bit better in Triple-A, slashing .242/.361/.406 over 462 plate appearances since 2022. His promotion comes in the wake of Chas McCormick (back) being placed on the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

Jorge Polanco 1B | NYM
Twins' Jorge Polanco: Rehab moved up to Triple-A
Polanco (knee) has been moved up to Triple-A St. Paul to continue his rehab assignment, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
Polanco went 5-for-18 with one double in six games with Low-A Fort Myers and is now ready to test things out against stiffer competition. The veteran second baseman is working his way back from a left knee issue and should be ready for his season debut in the next week or so.

Edouard Julien 2B | COL
Twins' Edouard Julien: Not in Tuesday's lineup
Julien is absent from the Twins' lineup Tuesday against the Red Sox.
The left-handed hitting Julien will take a seat with the Red Sox throwing southpaw Chris Sale. Switch hitter Willi Castro is at second base. It's the first time in the six games since he was promoted that Julien hasn't been in the lineup.

Lenyn Sosa 2B | TOR
White Sox's Lenyn Sosa: Making fifth straight start
Sosa is starting at second base and batting eighth for the White Sox in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Phillies.
It's the fifth straight start for Sosa, who is 3-for-16 with a home run in his previous four contests. The 23-year-old is one of the White Sox' better prospects and is worth using in deeper fantasy leagues while he's playing regularly, although that might only be the case while Tim Anderson (knee) is out.

Amed Rosario SS | NYY
Guardians' Amed Rosario: Aiming to return Friday
Rosario is hoping to return to the lineup Friday versus the Marlins after an MRI on his back was negative, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.
There's an outside chance Rosario could be available sooner than that, but it sounds like Friday is realistically his first shot to be back in action. Rosario hasn't played since Saturday because of a back issue. Tyler Freeman has been recalled and is starting the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Tigers.

Blue Jays' Santiago Espinal: Hits homer as replacement
Espinal went 1-for-1 with a solo home run in Monday's 9-2 loss against Houston.
Espinal replaced Bo Bichette at shortstop in the bottom of the seventh, and he hit his first homer of the season in the top of the eighth. It was only the third hit this season for the backup middle infielder, who's appeared in just 10 of Toronto's 17 games.

Guardians' Amed Rosario: Sits in first game of twin bill
Rosario (back) is out of the lineup for the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader with the Tigers.
Rosario is dealing with a minor back issue and will sit out at least the first game of Tuesday's twin bill. Tyler Freeman will get the nod at shortstop in the early game in Rosario's stead.

Marcus Semien 2B | NYM
Rangers' Marcus Semien: Hits solo home run in win
Semien went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 4-0 win over the Royals.
Semien reached on an error by third baseman Hunter Dozier to start the game and came around to score on a three-run homer by Josh Jung. The second baseman extended the Rangers' lead to 4-0 with a solo shot in the third, marking his third long ball of the season. During Semien's current four-game hitting streak, he has totaled three extra-base knocks, six RBI and six runs.
