Altuve (knee) is not in Saturday's starting nine against the Rangers.

Altuve will get another day to recover after exiting Wednesday's contest with right knee discomfort. An update on his status hasn't been provided, so he'll continue to be listed as day-to-day moving forward. Marwin Gonzalez will man second base and Alex Bregman is slated to play shortstop with Altuve out of the lineup.

Altuve is not in the lineup against Texas on Friday due to a sore knee, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

The Astros are keeping Altuve on the bench as a precaution after the second baseman exited Wednesday's game with right knee discomfort. He should be considered day-to-day ahead of Saturday's contest and will benefit from another 24 hours of recovery time.

Altuve described the injury as "not a big deal" while manager A.J. Hinch said the second baseman could have played through the injury. Drury is on the move once again after being traded to the Yankees this past offseason. The infielder has had a rocky year up to this point, mostly due to impaired vision that cost him time and his role with the big-league club in early April. Across 18 games with New York, he slashed .176/.263/.275 with seven RBI. He's currently dealing with a bruised left hand that he suffered during Tuesday's game. Moving forward, Drury will likely be utilized as a reserve infielder for the Blue Jays.

Wall was traded to Toronto alongside Chad Spanberger and a player to be named later in exchange for Seung Hwan Oh on Wednesday.

Across 93 games at the High- and Double-A levels within the Rockies' system this season, Wall slashed .260/.340/.410 with nine home runs, 31 RBI and 28 stolen bases. The speedy 22-year-old has spent most of 2018 continuing to transition to a role in center field after beginning his career as a second baseman. Since being promoted to Double-A Hartford in late May, he's hit for a .206 average with a .648 OPS, so look for Toronto to keep him at that level upon his arrival.

The Yankees activated Torres (hip) from the 10-day disabled list Wednesday. He'll start at second base and bat fifth in the Yankees' series finale against the Rays, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.

Torres was sidelined for the past three weeks with a strained right hip, but proved his health by going 3-for-9 with a pair of walks over his three-game rehab assignment at High-A Tampa. The rookie should ease back into a full-time role at the keystone right away for the Yankees, resulting in more limited at-bats for the likes of Neil Walker and Brandon Drury (hand).
