  • Brice Turang 2B | MIL

Brewers' Brice Turang: Launches grand slam

Turang went 2-for-5 with a grand slam in Sunday's win against the Cubs.

Turang took Kyle Hendricks deep with the bases loaded to put the finishing touches on a seven-run fourth inning for the Brewers. The 24-year-old has now hit two grand slams over the past eight days, giving him a career-best 37 RBI on the campaign. The middle infielder has enjoyed an exceptional breakout season, batting .292 with six home runs, 37 RBI, 40 runs scored and 28 stolen bases in 80 games played.

  • Rockies' Brendan Rodgers: Resting Sunday

Rodgers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.

Rodgers had started in each of the Rockies' last six games following his return from the injured list June 21, going 7-for-21 with two home runs, two walks, five RBI and three runs. He'll get a breather for Sunday's matinee, paving the way for Aaron Schunk to make his first MLB start.

  • Kody Clemens 1B | MIN

Phillies' Kody Clemens: Getting third straight start at 1B

Clemens will start at first base and bat sixth in Sunday's game against the Marlins.

With Bryce Harper (hamstring) landing on the injured list, Clemens looks to have settled in as the Phillies' primary first baseman, at least against right-handed pitching. He'll make a third straight start Sunday after going 1-for-6 with a double in his first two games following his return from a stint on the IL due to a back issue.

  • Brice Turang 2B | MIL

Brewers' Brice Turang: Collects two hits, steals base

Turang went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a stolen base in a loss to the Cubs on Saturday.

Turang's speed was on display in the defeat -- he plated the Brewers' first run with an RBI bunt single in the third inning and followed the hit with a steal of second base. The swipe was his 28th of the season, second most in the majors. Fantasy managers should have been aware of Turang's speed coming into the campaign after he swiped 26 bags in 137 games last year, but the second baseman's other offensive stats have been a pleasant surprise. He's slashing .290/.354/.406 with five homers, 33 RBI and 39 runs through 317 plate appearances.

  • Mets' Jose Iglesias: Two doubles in three-hit effort

Iglesias went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 9-6 loss to the Astros.

Iglesias has gone 7-for-17 over his last 10 contests, recording a plate appearance in just seven of those games. Over 43 plate appearances this year, he's batting .425 with seven RBI, six runs scored, one stolen base and four doubles, but the typically light-hitting infielder has yet to hit a home run. Iglesias' best path to playing time is at second base, where he's currently on the short side of a platoon with Jeff McNeil, who is hitting just .221 on the year and .211 in June.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Reaches four times in win

Marte went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk and one RBI in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Athletics.

Marte opened the scoring with an RBI single in the second inning, which was ultimately enough offense for Arizona to win. He's been good over the latter half of June, going 16-for-45 (.356) with seven extra-base hits and 12 RBI over his last 12 contests. Marte is at a .290/.352/.525 slash line with 17 home runs, 49 RBI, 55 runs scored, three stolen bases, 19 doubles and two triples across 80 games this year.

  • Reds' Jonathan India: Extends hit streak to 11 games

India went 2-for-5 with two RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 9-4 win over the Cardinals.

India hit an RBI double and scored in the second inning and then added another RBI double in the seventh. The second baseman is on fire, hitting safely in 11 consecutive games and registering multiple hits in eight straight. He has increased his average to .279 with five home runs, 34 RBI, 38 runs scored and eight steals over 311 plate appearances this season. The 27-year-old will likely continue to hit leadoff until TJ Friedl (hamstring) returns from the injured list.

  • Rockies' Brendan Rodgers: Homers, scores twice in loss

Rodgers went 2-for-2 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Saturday's 11-3 loss to the White Sox.

Rodgers opened the scoring with a solo home run in the second inning, walked and scored in the fifth and then added a single in the seventh. The second baseman has been great in June, hitting .340 with three home runs and 10 RBI despite missing about two weeks with a hamstring injury. On the year, he is batting .280 with five home runs, 27 RBI and 27 runs scored over 253 plate appearances.

  • Tommy Edman 2B | LAD

Cardinals' Tommy Edman: Ankle injury not considered serious

Manager Oliver Marmol said Saturday that Edman (wrist) was able to field grounders again Friday without any problems with his sprained ankle, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Marmol added that Edman remains on track to begin a rehab assignment with Double-A Springfield or Triple-A Memphis sometime next week, barring any setbacks. The 29-year-old infielder has spent all season on the injured list, so an extended stint in the minors will likely be necessary, though it's still possible he'll be able to rejoin the big-league club before the All-Star break.

  • Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH

    Mets' Jeff McNeil: Idle Saturday

McNeil isn't in the Mets' lineup for Saturday's game against Houston.

McNeil will get a day off Saturday after going 3-for-4 with a three-run homer during Friday's win. Jose Iglesias will start at second base instead and bat eighth.
