Marte went 1-for-4 with a walk, a steal and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-3 win over the Padres.

Marte was back in Sunday's lineup after being scratched Saturday due to back soreness. His back didn't appear to hinder him, as he picked up just his second steal of the season after walking to leadoff the fourth. Marte has been scorching hot at the plate in June, slashing .462/.548/.846 with three homers, six RBI, six runs and a 4:5 BB:K over his last seven games.

Lux went 3-for-4 with a steal and a run scored in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Yankees.

Lux put together his first three-hit effort of the season while also tallying his third steal of the year. Despite the three base hits, Lux was unable to drive anyone home and remains with just one RBI since May 19. He also hasn't homered since May 7 and has just four extra-base hits since May 22. The 26-year-old is still looking to find some more consistency at the dish, and is now slashing .216/.268/.292 with 13 RBI, 18 runs and a 12:40 BB:K in 183 plate appearances.

Marte (back) is starting at second base and batting second Sunday against the Padres.

The 30-year-old was scratched from Saturday's starting nine due to lower-back soreness but will end up sitting just one game. Marte is 11-for-26 with three homers, six RBI and a 4:7 BB:K through seven games in June, which has boosted his OPS for the season to .848.

The Rockies placed Rodgers (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list Sunday.

The move was reported Saturday, and the transaction is now official with prospect Adael Amador getting a call-up from Double-A Hartford to join the Rockies. Rodgers will be eligible to be reinstated June 18, but it's unclear exactly how long he's expected to be sidelined by the hamstring strain. Amador and Alan Trejo should handle second base for Colorado while Rodgers is out.

The Rockies called up Amador from Double-A Hartford, and he'll start at second base and bat eighth Sunday at St. Louis.

The 21-year-old is taking the roster spot of Brendan Rodgers (hamstring), who was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday. Amador is one of the organization's top prospects, and he'll make his MLB debut without seeing action at the Triple-A level. Amador's .666 OPS in 208 plate appearances for Hartford this season isn't encouraging, though he carried a hot bat over his past nine games and had a .359/.422/.846 slash line with six home runs and six stolen bases.

Hoerner (hand) is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Cincinnati.

The 27-year-old was diagnosed with a small fracture in his hand Saturday after being hit by a pitch Thursday, so it's not a surprise he's sitting for the series finale versus the Reds. Hoerner won't necessarily require a trip to the injured list, and he may be able to play through the injury once the swelling subsides. Michael Busch will handle the keystone Sunday for the Cubs.

Stott is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mets in London.

Stott started the previous nine games and is in the midst of a five-game hit streak, and he's gone 5-for-17 with a double, three walks, two RBI and four stolen bases in the latter stretch. Weston Wilson will take over at second base and bat eighth Sunday.

Turang went 2-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs in Saturday's win over the Tigers.

The Brewers' primary leadoff man started off the game with a walk, then moved to second and scored on a single by Christian Yelich. Turang would reach on hits in his next two at-bats and scored again in the third, giving him his seventh game with at least two runs scored this season. The second baseman also added his 23rd stolen base of the season, second to only Elly De La Cruz in MLB. Turang's batting average sits at .307 for the year.

The Rockies are expected to place Rodgers on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a left hamstring strain, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Rodgers was removed from Friday's game against the Cardinals after he had his hamstring tightened up while running out a hit. Further evaluation revealed that the second baseman has a strain in his left hamstring and will need an IL stint. Infielder Adael Amador will be called up from Double-A Hartford to fill Rodgers' spot on the active roster and should share second base duties with Alan Trejo.

Lux isn't in the Dodgers' lineup Saturday against the Yankees.

Lux will take a seat as southpaw Nestor Cortes prepares to start on the mound for New York. Miguel Rojas will fill in at the keystone and bat seventh.
