Donovan isn't starting Wednesday against Pittsburgh, Derrick Goold of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.
Donovan has recorded hits in each of the last eight games, hitting .310 with two doubles, seven runs, an RBI, five walks and three strikeouts over that stretch. However, Paul DeJong will take over at the keystone and bat ninth during Wednesday's regular-season finale.

Bryson Stott 2B | PHI
Phillies' Bryson Stott: Riding pine Wednesday
Stott isn't in the lineup Wednesday against the Astros.
Stott started the last six games and hit .429 with a home run, three doubles, five RBI, four runs and three stolen bases. He'll get a breather while Nick Maton takes over at shortstop and bats eighth.

Jeff McNeil 2B | ATH
Mets' Jeff McNeil: Closing in on batting title
McNeil went 3-for-8 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored across both games of Tuesday's doubleheader sweep of the Nationals.
The Mets launched back-to-back-to-back homers to lead off the nightcap, with McNeil following Brandon Nimmo and Francisco Lindor in that train. The 30-year-old utility player is on the verge of winning his first career batting title, as McNeil leads the NL with a .326 batting average -- well ahead of the Dodgers' Freddie Freeman at .322 with only one day left on the calendar.

Brendan Rodgers 2B | BOS
Rockies' Brendan Rodgers: Continues recent surge
Rodgers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 5-2 win against the Dodgers on Tuesday.
Rodgers took Los Angeles starter Julio Urias deep to left in the first inning and added a single in the third for his third multi-hit performance in his last five games. During the stretch, the 26-year-old is 9-for-18 with two home runs, a double and three walks and has boosted his season OPS from .710 to .736.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Records lone Arizona hit
Rojas went 1-for-3 with a steal in Tuesday's loss against the Brewers.
Rojas was one of the lone bright spots for Arizona, as he recorded the team's sole hit on the night. The hit, a single to lead off the seventh inning, spoiled Milwaukee's bid for a combined no-hitter and put him in position to swipe second base, which he did successfully. The stolen base was his 23rd of the season and third in his last five games. Over 506 plate appearances in 2022, Rojas has slashed .267/.347/.380.

Luis Urias 2B | ATH
Brewers' Luis Urias: Leads team to victory
Urias went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and two RBI in Tuesday's victory over Arizona.
Urias produced two of Milwaukee's three runs Tuesday, getting to Arizona ace Zac Gallen for a couple of extra-base hits. His solo shot in the third inning, Urias' 16th on the season, put Milwaukee up 2-0, and he later smacked a double to score Jace Peterson in the fifth inning. Over his last 10 games dating back to Sept. 20, Urias is batting .382 (13-for-34) with five extra-base hits, four RBI and six runs scored.

Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC
Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Hits 10th home run
Hoerner went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Reds.
Hoerner came into 2022 with just three career MLB home runs, but he now has 10 this season. He's paired those long balls with 19 stolen bases in 21 attempts along with a strong .280 batting average. Hoerner has also played in a career-high 134 games. If he can remain healthy in 2023 and continues to develop a bit more power, his fantasy outlook should trend upward.

Bryson Stott 2B | PHI
Phillies' Bryson Stott: Perfect at plate Monday
Stott went 3-for-3 with a solo home run and a double in Monday's 3-0 win over the Astros.
Stott reached base in all four of his plate appearances Monday, just the second time that he has reached base four times in his young career. The home run, a solo shot which came in the top of the eighth, was his 10th of the season and first since Sept. 3. The rookie is heating up to close the season, as he is now 9-for-17 over his last five games with three steals, four runs scored and five RBI.

Ha-seong Kim 2B | ATL
Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Goes deep Sunday
Kim went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the White Sox.
Kim accounted for San Diego's only run in the loss with his 416-foot solo shot to left field in the seventh inning. It was his 11th homer of the campaign and his first extra-base hit of any kind since Sept. 25. Kim has posted a .249/.322/.380 slash line along with 57 RBI, 57 runs and 11 stolen bases over 148 games in his second major-league season.

Ji-Hwan Bae 2B | NYM
Pirates' Ji Hwan Bae: Sitting Monday
Bae is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Cardinals.
Bae has handled a near-everyday role since his call-up from Triple-A Indianapolis on Sept. 23 and has picked up starts at three different positions. Though he's on the bench Monday, it wouldn't be surprising if he picked up starts in the Pirates' final two games of the season.
