Luis Urias 2B | ATH
Brewers' Luis Urias: Sitting once again Monday
Urias isn't starting Monday against the Pirates, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
Urias is on the bench for a second consecutive matchup after he went just 1-for-8 with a double, four walks and a strikeout over his last three games. Jace Peterson is starting at the hot corner and batting seventh.

Nolan Gorman 2B | STL
Cardinals' Nolan Gorman: Sits out Monday
Gorman is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Reds, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.
The lefty-hitting Gorman will bow out of the lineup versus a right-hander (Chase Anderson), despite owning a .327 wOBA (113 wRC+) in those matchups so far during his rookie season. Gorman doesn't look to be in danger of losing out on his near-everyday role; instead, his absence from the lineup is likely a byproduct of the Cardinals wanting to give Paul Goldschmidt a day out of the field by using him at designated hitter.

Gavin Lux SS | TB
Dodgers' Gavin Lux: Sitting Monday
Lux is not in the starting lineup for Monday's series finale against the Marlins, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
Lux will take a seat after he went 0-for-4 with a walk, a run scored and two strikeouts in his return to the lineup Sunday following a four-game absence with a neck issue. Hanser Alberto will draw the start at second base and bat ninth versus Miami.

Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC
Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Big game Sunday
Hoerner went 3-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Sunday's 9-7 loss to the Brewers.
Hoerner tallied his second three-hit game in the last week, raising his batting average to .293 in the process. The 25-year-old is establishing himself as a good contact hitter without a ton of power, as he has just 11 career home runs across parts of four seasons in the majors, though eight of those have come this year. If Hoerner can add to his power output again in 2023, he figures to take a step forward as a fantasy asset.

Ozzie Albies 2B | ATL
Braves' Ozzie Albies: Rehab assignment on tap
Albies (foot) is expected to begin a rehab assignment around the middle of this week, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Albies has been on the injured list since mid-June, but he ramped up his progression of baseball activities recently and has now been cleared for a rehab assignment, which will likely be the final step in his recovery process. The 25-year-old will likely need to spend considerable time in the minors given the length of his absence, so it's possible that he's not activated until around mid-September.

Michael Chavis 2B | CIN
Pirates' Michael Chavis: On base twice in win
Chavis went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored in Sunday's win over the Phillies.
Chavis walked in his first at-bat but was stranded at second. He later singled in Bryan Reynolds and came around to score on a fielder's choice as the Pirates chased Noah Syndergaard in the sixth inning. Chavis, who has exactly one hit in seven of his last eight games, is now slashing .245/.277/.416 with 13 home runs on the season.

Luis Urias 2B | ATH
Brewers' Luis Urias: Receiving day off
Urias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.
After going 2-for-11 with a double, four walks and a run while starting in each of the past four games, Urias will get a breather for the series finale with the Cubs. Jace Peterson will spell Urias at the hot corner and will bat seventh.

Ha-seong Kim 2B | ATL
Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Gets Sunday off
Kim is out of the lineup for Sunday's game in Kansas City.
Jake Cronenworth will slide over to shortstop to fill in for Kim, who is taking a seat for the first time since Aug. 14. Kim came up big at the plate over the first two games of the series with the Royals, going 4-for-10 with a home run, a double and five RBI.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Gets rest Sunday
Marte is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.
Marte had served as Arizona's designated hitter in each of the past five games, going 3-for-22 with a walk, two RBI and a run over those contests. Rookie Stone Garrett will fill in for him in the series finale.

Luis Garcia 2B | WAS
Nationals' Luis Garcia: Gets rest Sunday
Garcia is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds.
After coming off the injured list Friday, Garcia went 2-for-8 with an RBI and a stolen base while starting both of the first two games of the series at the keystone. Cesar Hernandez will step in at second base Sunday, but Garcia should be the Nationals' primary option at the position the rest of the way.
