Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD
Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Returns to lineup Sunday
Forsythe started and went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI in Sunday's 7-1 loss to the Nationals.
Forsythe rode the pine over the Dodgers' last two games, giving way to Chase Utley's hotter bat. Sunday's start against a right-hander was noteworthy because it put off what appeared to be a developing platoon situation at the keystone -- at least for now. Forsythe's recent reduction in playing time was a direct result of his underwhelming .228/.359/.325 slash line through 107 games this season. The 30-year-old will have to begin producing at the plate, lest he be phased out of the Dodgers' starting lineup as they prepare for a postseason run.

Yangervis Solarte 2B | SD
Padres' Yangervis Solarte: Homers in win Sunday
Solarte went 2-for-5 with a double and his 17th home run of the season in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Rockies.
Solarte returned to the lineup with a bang after receiving a day off Saturday. He has been logging starts at third base this past week while the Padres shuffle their lineup to replace the injured Jose Pirela (finger). The utility infielder may be eligible at several positions, but his .252/.317/.418 slash line and modest power play best at either second base or shortstop.

Brandon Drury 2B | KC
Diamondbacks' Brandon Drury: Collects two hits Saturday
Drury went 2-for-4 with a double in Saturday's 2-0 win over the Giants.
The double was Drury's team-leading 35th of the season. Drury remains in a timeshare at second base with Daniel Descalso but offers more fantasy upside of the two thanks to his superior power.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Pirates' Adam Frazier: Not starting Sunday
Frazier is out of the lineup Sunday against the Brewers.
Sean Rodriguez will be deployed at second base Sunday while Frazier gets the day off after starting five consecutive games. Frazier will likely return to the lineup Monday against the Brewers.

Yangervis Solarte 2B | SD
Padres' Yangervis Solarte: Rides pine Saturday
Solarte is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rockies.
Erick Aybar will get the start at shortstop against lefty Tyler Anderson. Solarte has a sub-.650 OPS overall since his return from an oblique injury in late July, and he's batting just .198/.269/.245 against left-handed pitching for the season.

Amed Rosario 3B | NYY
Mets' Amed Rosario: Back in action
Rosario (hip) is back in the lineup Saturday against the Braves, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
Just as Rosario turned the page on a finger issue, he hurt his hip flexor, but evidently it was a minor injury as the 21-year-old is set to return after missing one start. Rosario didn't do much initially upon his arrival to the big leagues, but he's batting .312/.340/.484 with four homers and five steals in his last 27 games.

Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD
Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Out of Saturday's lineup
Forsythe is out of Saturday's lineup against the Nationals, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
He will sit for a second straight game and is hitting just .200/.282/.343 with one home run in 35 at-bats this month. Chase Utley will lead off and man the keystone against righty A.J. Cole.

Enrique Hernandez SS | LAD
Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Excused from team
Hernandez has been excused from the team for the time being to attend to a personal matter, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
Hernandez's grandfather passed away, so the team has allowed him to return to Puerto Rico to be with his family. It remains to be seen when he will be ready to return to the team, and who will fill his role in his absence.

Amed Rosario 3B | NYY
Mets' Amed Rosario: Held out Friday
Rosario (hip) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against Atlanta.
Rosario was replaced in the fifth inning of Thursday's game after injuring himself during an at-bat. The club has yet to release any information regarding the 21-year-old's condition, but he should be considered day-to-day for the time being. In his place, Jose Reyes will draw the assignment at shortstop.

Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD
Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Not in Friday's lineup
Forsythe is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Nationals, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
Forsythe will occupy a seat on the bench for the second time in the past three games after going 1-for-3 with an RBI and a double during Wednesday's contest. In his place, Chase Utley draws a start for the series opener.
