  • Amed Rosario 3B | NYY

Mets' Amed Rosario: Leaves early Thursday

Rosario exited Thursday's game against the Cubs with a hip flexor injury, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Rosario was injured during an at-bat in the fifth inning. The extent of his setback has not been determined, but his expect his status to be updated when more details are released.

  • Amed Rosario 3B | NYY

Mets' Amed Rosario: Churns out three hits, steal

Rosario went 3-for-4 with a steal and two runs in Wednesday's 17-5 loss to the Cubs.

With a .273 average complemented by flashes of power and speed over his first 35 games in the big leagues, the 21-year-old shortstop is showing promise even though he hasn't yet offered much fantasy value -- mostly because of his team context, though his poor 3:34 BB:K is a factor as well. Rosario's got talent in spades, and the fact that he's already more than holding his own in the majors is a great sign. Owners in keeper/dynasty leagues should be thrilled to have him.

  • Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: To start against lefties moving forward

Manager Dave Roberts said Hernandez will start in left field against left-handed pitchers moving forward, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Curtis Granderson has struggled mightily since joining the Dodgers -- slashing just .107/.256/.267 in 75 at-bats -- so he'll settle into a platoon with Hernandez down the stretch. Hernandez has hit .261/.354/.580 with 10 homers in 158 plate appearances against southpaws this season.

  • Giants' Kelby Tomlinson: Stuns with homer off Kershaw

Tomlinson went 2-for-2 with a solo homer and a walk against the Dodgers on Tuesday.

His first homer in 92 games this season came against Clayton Kershaw, of all people. That'll probably be a lifelong memory for Tomlinson, who's given the fantasy community no reason to consider him anything other than a light-hitting, relatively little-used utility man.

  • Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD

Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Stationed on bench Tuesday

Forsythe is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Giants, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Forsythe -- who is just 6-for-30 during the month of September -- will head to the bench as the Dodgers take on the Giants and look to snap out of their lengthy losing streak. Chase Utley will draw the start at second base and bat eighth.

  • Diamondbacks' Brandon Drury: Sitting Tuesday

Drury is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies.

This will be Drury's second absence in four games since Paul Goldschmidt's return to first base -- he and Daniel Descalso seem destined to split time fairly evenly at second over the remainder of the campaign. Drury has a .686 OPS since the All-Star break, which is more than 110 points lower than his mark from the first half.

  • Adam Frazier 2B | LAA

Pirates' Adam Frazier: Out of Tuesday's lineup

Frazier is out of Tuesday's lineup against the Brewers.

He will sit for the second time in the last three games, and given the expanded roster and host of options in the middle infield, Frazier could be in for a reduced role where he starts three or four times per week down the stretch. Sean Rodriguez will start at second base and hit seventh.

  • Logan Forsythe 2B | LAD

Dodgers' Logan Forsythe: Gets breather Monday

Forsythe is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Giants, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.

Forsythe has struggled at the plate to kick off September, collecting just five hits in 26 at-bats (.192), so he'll get the day off as Chase Utley takes over at the keystone.

  • Ozzie Albies 2B | ATL

Braves' Ozzie Albies: On base four times Sunday

Albies went 2-for-4 with two walks, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's extra-inning win over the Marlins.

The 20-year-old switch-hitter extended his on-base streak to 13 games with the performance, and Albies now has a .282/.346/.444 slash line in his first 38 big-league games. He's only stolen two bases, but the diminutive middle infielder appears ready to become a fixture at the top of the Braves' order for many years to come.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Not starting Sunday

Marte is out of the lineup Sunday against the Padres.

Marte has picked up two hits in three consecutive games and scored four runs in that time. However, despite his tremendous display of hitting, the Diamondbacks will start Adam Rosales at shortstop and give Marte the day off.
