Mets' Amed Rosario: Collects hit in MLB debut
Rosario played shortstop and hit seventh in his big-league debut Tuesday, going 1-for-4 and striking out once.
The 21-year-old didn't exactly explode onto the scene in his debut, but some fielding jitters aside Rosario looked like he belonged in the majors. The Mets' top prospect will get consistent at-bats for the remainder of the season, and in the short term he can offer solid contact skills and a bit of speed to a fantasy roster.

Braves' Ozzie Albies: Hitless in MLB debut Tuesday
Albies went 0-for-2 with a walk and a run scored in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Dodgers.
He looked like he belonged in his MLB debut, playing solid defense at the keystone and getting on base for Johan Camargo's two-run homer in the eighth inning that made things close. Albies is still only 20 years old so don't expect too much fantasy value from him while he gets his feet wet in the majors, but he could chip in some steals in the short term and remains an excellent asset in keeper and dynasty leagues.

Braves' Ozzie Albies: Set to receive full-time role
Manager Brian Snitker said that Albies, who was promoted from Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday, would serve as the Braves' primary second baseman, Mark Bowman of MLB.com. He'll bat seventh in his major-league debut Tuesday against the Dodgers.
With a .768 OPS, Brandon Phillips has been solid as the Braves' everyday second baseman through the first four months of the season, but since he's a 36-year-old on a rebuilding squad, it was always expected that he'd eventually give way to Albies, the organization's top middle-infield prospect. Albies earned his promotion to the big leagues by slashing .285/.330/.440 with a 21-for-23 stolen-base success rate at Gwinnett, and should get every opportunity over the final two months of the season to establish himself as a long-term member of the Braves' core. There will likely be some growing pains as he adjusts to the jump in the quality of competition, but Albies' game-breaking speed and contact-hitting skills will at the very least make him an intriguing speculative pickup.

Mets' Amed Rosario: Officially called up Tuesday
Rosario was recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday.
As anticipated, the top prospect will head to the majors to begin his tenure as the Mets' everyday shortstop. Rosario impressed during his first full season in Triple-A, slashing .328/.367/.466 with 19 stolen bases., and he'll look to carry that success into the big leagues. To make room for him on the active roster, Matt Reynolds was sent back to Las Vegas.

Braves' Ozzie Albies: Called up to big leagues
Albies was promoted to the majors from Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
In the 20-year-old's first season at the Triple-A level, he slashed .285/.330/.440 while hitting a career-high nine home runs and swiping 21 bases. Albies will now head to the major leagues to get his first taste of the highest level, and although he may not assume regular duties immediately upon his arrival in Atlanta, he is a major building block for the franchise and should see his fair share of reps at both second base and shortstop over the final two months of the season.

Mets' Amed Rosario: To be called up Tuesday
Rosario will be called up to the big leagues ahead of Tuesday's game against the Rockies, Tyler Kepner of The New York Times reports.
The Mets' front office has been peppered with questions as to when their highly touted prospect would finally get brought up to the majors, and as was speculated last week, Rosario will emerge with the Mets on Tuesday. He'll presumably become the everyday shortstop for New York immediately, although no official word on that front has come forth. No corresponding roster move has been made yet, but that should occur sometime prior to Tuesday's game.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Will land on bereavement list
Marte is expected to be placed on the bereavement list following the death of his mother, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
This is tragic news, and Marte is headed back to the Dominican Republic to be with his family during this difficult time. Emilio Bonifacio was added on a minor-league deal and could temporarily fill in at shortstop with Marte out, though the Diamondbacks could ultimately look to add another infielder via trade, given that Chris Owings is also out with a fractured finger.

Padres' Yangervis Solarte: Batting cleanup in return from DL
Solarte (oblique) was activated from the 10-day disabled list and is starting at third base and batting fourth during Sunday's game against the Pirates, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Solarte had been sidelined since June 21 with an oblique strain but is ready to make his long-awaited return to the Padres' lineup. He'll slot into the cleanup spot and look to build upon his .268 average and 10 home runs as we head into the final two months of the regular season.

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Hits another homer Saturday
Marte went 1-for-3 with a home run, two walks and two RBI in Saturday's 7-1 win over the Cardinals.
While Marte has been a below-average offensive contributor over his 68 plate appearances with the big club this season, he's started to come around since the All-Star break, providing a .265/.375/.588 line. The slugging percentage is particularly impressive for Marte, whose four home runs on the campaign are more than what he had supplied (three) with the Mariners over 713 plate appearances the last two seasons combined. The enhanced power coupled with strong defense at shortstop has allowed Marte to vault ahead of Brandon Drury on the depth chart in the middle infield.
