Biggio will be filling in for a resting Santiago Espinal in what marks the former's fourth consecutive start. The 27-year-old will carry a five-game hitting streak into Wednesday's contest, but Biggio is unlikely to handle anything more than a part-time role moving forward while all of Toronto's key regulars are healthy.

Rengifo went 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI in Tuesday's 6-0 win over the Royals.
Rengifo will take a nine-game hitting streak into Wednesday's series finale, with the 25-year-old starting at shortstop and batting third in that contest. Dating back to June 22, Rengifo has failed to produce a hit in only two of his 26 starts and is slashing .347/.385/.500 over that stretch. For fantasy managers in need of a batting-average buffer, Rengifo is worth a look in shallower mixed leagues where he may still be available.

Villar will sit Wednesday against the Diamondbacks, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
Villar will get a breather after he went 1-for-6 with a strikeout over the first two games of the series. Tommy La Stella will slide over to third base while LaMonte Wade enters the the lineup at designated hitter and bats eighth in the series finale.

Red Sox's Christian Arroyo: Could begin rehab Wednesday
Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Arroyo (groin) is "most likely" to begin a rehab assignment Wednesday at Double-A Portland, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.
The Red Sox had hoped to get Arroyo out on assignment this past weekend, but the utility player was still feeling the groin during at-bats in a simulated game last Friday.

Nationals' Luis Garcia: Breaks out of slump
Garcia went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run and a triple in an 8-3 win against the Dodgers on Tuesday.
Garcia tripled in the fourth inning, singled in the sixth and connected on a go-ahead two-run home run in the eighth for his fifth three-hit game of the season. The long ball snapped an 0-for-11 skid over the 22-year-old's last three games in addition to a 31-contest home run drought. Garcia is slashing .287/.295/.421 with three home runs, 15 runs and 17 RBI in 46 games.

Orioles' Jordan Westburg: Nursing foot injury
Westburg was removed from Tuesday's game with Triple-A Norfolk after being hit by a pitch on the left foot, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Westburg has an .872 OPS since being promoted to Norfolk in early June, but he's now dealing with a potential foot injury. The 23-year-old should be considered day-to-day until more information is available.

Brewers' Luis Urias: Big night in win
Urias went 3-for-4 with a homer, two runs scored and two RBI in a 7-6 win Tuesday over Minnesota.
Urias singled and scored in the second, hit a solo shot in the third and walked it off with a sacrifice fly in the ninth. It was his first three-hit game of the season and he has now reached base safely in 11 of his last 12 contests. In July, he has posted a .279/.354/.456 line with three homers.

Altuve is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game at Oakland.
The 32-year-old started the first six games out of the All-Star break and will receive Tuesday off after posting an .815 OPS with two home runs, three RBI and five runs in that stretch. Aledmys Diaz will start at the keystone in Altuve's place.
