Biggio cleared COVID-19 protocols Monday and began baseball activities, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.

Biggio has been on the COVID-19 injured list for the past week and was reportedly experiencing symptoms. It looks like he'll be able to return within the next few days, though he'll need a day or two to get sharp again before being activated.

Marte is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.

Marte will sit for the second time this season after going 3-for-26 with a solo home run and no other RBI while starting each of Arizona's last seven games. The poor stretch at the plate was a continuation of a rough start to the season for Marte, who enters Monday's contest with a .151/.213/.279 slash line across 94 plate appearances.

The Brewers reinstated Urias (quadriceps) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.

Milwaukee designated reliever Jose Urena for assignment to clear room on the active roster for Urias, who is expected to make his season debut in Tuesday's series opener with the Reds. After suffering the left quad injury in a March 19 Cactus League game, Urias was slow to resume baseball activities, but the Brewers appear confident in his health after he recently wrapped up a seven-game rehab assignment at Double-A Biloxi. Urias wasn't especially productive at Biloxi with a .148/.258/.185 slash line across 31 plate appearances, but he's expected to immediately reclaim everyday duties at third base. Milwaukee had been running a platoon of Jace Peterson and Mike Brosseau at the position for the first three-plus weeks of the season.

McNeil went 4-for-5 with two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI in Sunday's win over the Phillies.

Hitting third and getting the start in left field, McNeil continued a recent tear that has seen him pile up five multi-hit performances over the last seven games. The 30-year-old's hot streak has pushed his batting average up to .361 (26-for-72) on the season with one homer, one steal, 10 RBI and 13 runs through 21 contests.

The White Sox optioned Mendick to Triple-A Charlotte on Monday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.

Mendick and reliever Anderson Severino were the casualties as the White Sox needed to reduce their active roster from 28 to 26 men prior to Monday's deadline. The 28-year-old utility man started three straight games from April 24 through 27, but he went unused off the bench in each of Chicago's four games that followed.

Rodgers went 2-for-4 with a double, four RBI and a run scored Sunday against the Reds.

Rodgers returned from a four-game absence caused by a back injury and reclaimed his starting role at second base. He began the performance with an RBI single in the first inning, and one frame later he delivered a bases-clearing double. The effort marked the first time Rodgers tallied multiple hits in a game in 2022, and the double was only his second extra-base hit of the campaign. Rodgers has gotten off to a disastrous start to the season by posting a .109/194/.145 line, but Sunday's performance was an encouraging sign that he can get on track at the plate.

Rojas (oblique) will soon begin a rehab assignment and is expected back in the majors during Arizona's upcoming homestand, Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic reports.

Arizona manager Torey Lovullo said Rojas, who has been getting at-bats in extended spring training games, will play for "one or maybe two games" at Triple-A Reno. The rehab assignment likely rules out a return while the Diamondbacks finish a road trip in Miami, but Rojas could make his season debut at some point during the nine-game homestand that begins Friday against Colorado. He played seven innings at shortstop Saturday, but that was to ensure he's comfortable moving around the infield if needed. Lovullo indicated Rojas will see most of his innings at third base.

Ibanez batted seventh and went 1-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 7-3 win over Atlanta.

Ibanez started at designated hitter while Charlie Culberson served as the third baseman against a left-hander. Ibanez has hit safely in six consecutive games to go with his second stolen base in as many contests.

Arraez and the Twins avoided arbitration by agreeing to a one-year, $2.13 million contract Sunday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.

After a hot start to the season, Arraez has been in a slump recently, as he's gone 1-for-15 over the last four games. However, the 25-year-old won't require an arbiter to reach an agreement with Minnesota. In spite of his recent cold spell at the plate, Arraez is hitting .299 with a homer, seven RBI and six runs over 21 games in 2022.

Stefanic, who hadn't played at Triple-A Salt Lake since April 21 due to an unspecified injury, returned to the lineup for Sunday's 9-4 loss to Round Rock. He started at second base and went 0-for-2 with two walks.

Stefanic doesn't possess a spot on the Angels' 40-man roster, but since he's not a young prospect at 26 years old, the organization likely won't hesitate to promote him if his performance at Triple-A warrants a call-up. He's turned in a .781 OPS through his first 14 games, making him a solidly above-average contributor in the Pacific Coast League.
