Guillorme is not in the lineup Friday against the Yankees.

Guillorme started the past 10 games at third base but will take a seat after going 7-for-30 (.233 averaged) during that stretch. The 26-year-old may see a downturn in playing time in the near future with Jonathan Villar (calf) potentially returning from the injured list this weekend.

Short is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the White Sox, Chris McCosky of The Detroit News reports.

Short started at shortstop during both games of Wednesday's doubleheader against Cleveland, but he'll begin Friday's game on the bench. Harold Castro will start at shortstop and bat seventh.

India went 2-for-3 with two doubles, one RBI, a run scored, two walks and a stolen base in Thursday's 5-4 win over the Padres.

India had quite the offensive day, tallying multiple extra-base hits for the fourth time this season. He added his seventh steal when he stole third base in the first inning. The 24-year-old is slashing .268/.384/.408 with six home runs, seven steals, 31 RBI and 38 runs in 277 plate appearances. He is batting .326 with three steals and 13 runs scored over his last 12 games.

Altuve went 1-for-3 with two walks and a grand slam in Thursday's 7-2 win over Cleveland.

With Houston trailing 2-1 in the fifth inning, Altuve connected for a grand slam off J.C. Mejia to give the Astros a lead they would not relinquish. It was his second granny of the season.

Rodgers went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional run and a walk as Colorado beat St. Louis, 5-2 on Thursday.

Rodgers tagged Cardinals starter Adam Wainwright for a two-run homer in the second, singled in the fourth and walked with two out in the ninth to ignite the game-winning rally. It was the young infielder's second straight two-hit performance as he's now slashing .290/.374/.486 in 34 games.

Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Thursday against the Royals.

Hernandez led off the bottom of the first inning with his ninth home run of the season -- his third leadoff homer in five games. That was his lone hit of the contest, though he entered Thursday's game with multiple hits in three of his last four starts -- scoring one run on each occasion. Across 273 plate appearances this season, Hernandez is hitting .237/.304/.424 with 38 runs scored and 25 RBI.

Lux isn't starting Thursday's game against the Nationals, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Lux hasn't been very effective at the plate recently, as he's gone just 2-for-25 with a run, an RBI, a stolen base, six walks and six strikeouts across the last nine games. Chris Taylor will start at shortstop and bat second.

Semien went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and another run scored during Thursday's loss to Seattle.

Semien got Toronto on the board with his first-inning blast against Yusei Kikuchi. He also swatted his 21st double of the season in the eighth and soon came around to score. After finishing off a hot June at the plate with six home runs, it looks like Semien is starting off July on the right track. Overall this season, he's slashing .291/.357/.548 with 20 long balls.

Urias is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Pirates.

Urias will get a well-deserved breather Thursday after he ignited the Brewers with a 4-for-5 afternoon in the team's thrilling 15-7 win over the Cubs on Wednesday. Kolten Wong (calf) will check back into the lineup after a four-game absence, so Urias should drop in the order after he filled in at the leadoff spot while Wong was out.

Clement will start at shortstop and bat seventh Thursday against the Astros.

The 25-year-old will remain in the starting nine for the fourth time in five games, and he looks like he could be the main beneficiary of extra opportunities following Josh Naylor's (ankle) recent placement on the injured list. Clement has gone 3-for-11 with four runs over his previous three starts.
