Frazier went 4-for-5 with a triple, a double, an RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 3-2 win over the Giants.

Frazier had four hits in a game for the first time since August of 2019 and was crucial down the stretch in helping the Pirates secure a come-from-behind win Friday. The 29-year-old led off the ninth with a base hit and later came around to score to tie the game up and send it into extras. He then began the 11th by tying up the game again with a RBI triple and scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly. Frazier is quietly having an excellent season, slashing .315/.383/.456 with 16 extra-base hits, 13 RBI, 20 runs scored, three steals and a 14:19 BB:K.

India went 2-for-4 with a double and a two-run home run in Friday's loss to the Rockies. He was also caught stealing.

India had been in a bad way at the plate -- he entered this series in a 3-for-37 slide -- but a trip to Coors Field was just what the doctor ordered. He has homered in consecutive games and has raised his slash line from .208/.304/.312 to .235/.320/.412 in the span of two days.

Manager Aaron Boone indicated that Torres (COVID-19 IL) could rejoin the Yankees "real soon," Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News reports.

Torres was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Thursday after testing positive for the coronavirus, but he is reportedly asymptomatic. Since the shortstop is fully vaccinated, he could return earlier than 10 days if he has no symptoms and tests negative for the virus at least twice. Gio Urshela (knee) and Tyler Wade have covered the shortstop position for New York in the two games that Torres has been out.

Lopez went 1-for-6 with a stolen base and a run scored across both halves of Friday's doubleheader versus the White Sox.

Lopez contributed to Kansas City's 6-2 win in the matinee by getting aboard with a single in the seventh inning, stealing second and coming around to score on a Carlos Santana single. Lopez has shown some modest speed with three stolen bases in 37 games this year. He's slashed .233/.333/.311 with no home runs, seven RBI and 19 runs scored across 124 plate appearances while filling in for Adalberto Mondesi (oblique) at shortstop.

Semien went 0-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and two strikeouts in Friday's 5-1 loss to Philadelphia.

While Semien's 12-game hitting streak came to a close Friday, he salvaged some value from the contest with his seventh stolen base of the season. The 30-year-old infielder is still hitting .365 (19-for-52) in May with three home runs, 10 RBI, 10 runs scored and a steal. Overall, he's knocked eight homers with 20 RBI and 21 runs scored in 163 plate appearances this year.

Urias went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's 6-3 loss to Atlanta.

Urias opened the game's scoring with an RBI single in the second inning. He then knocked a solo homer in the ninth to cut Atlanta's lead to 6-2, tying the career-high four homers he hit in 2019. The 23-year-old infielder is sporting a .691 OPS with 17 RBI.

Mayfield was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma on Friday.

Manager Scott Servais said earlier in the evening during a radio interview that Ty France (wrist) was headed to the injured list, and the paperwork is now done. Mayfield, a waiver acquisition from the Angels in late April, will replace France on the active roster. Mayfield is an ultra-light-hitting utility infielder (career .165/.193/.275).

Jones hit the minor-league injured list Friday with a strained left oblique, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

The Orioles don't seem particularly concerned about the issue, with reports suggesting his absence should last days, not weeks. He hit .227/.333/.591 in 23 games for Triple-A Norfolk prior to suffering the injury.

Gimenez is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Mariners.

Make it two straight absences for Gimenez. He is not known to be dealing with any sort of injury or illness, so it seems Amed Rosario may have leapfrogged Gimenez at shortstop. Harold Ramirez and Jordan Luplow have been in center field the past couple days with Rosario at short.

Diaz (illness) will return to the lineup for Friday's game against the Dodgers, batting sixth and playing second base, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Diaz was pulled from Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks due to an illness and didn't start Thursday's contest, though he did make an appearance off the bench. He'll be involved from the start this time around and will be looking to improve on his .147/.286/.324 slash line.
