Hernandez is in line to see regular playing time in center field with Chris Taylor moving to shortstop, J.P. Hoornstra of the Los Angeles Daily News reports.

Corey Seager (elbow) was diagnosed with a sprained UCL on Monday and will undergo Tommy John surgery, resulting in him missing the rest of the season. Because of this, Chris Taylor will serve as the Dodgers' everyday shortstop, making room for Hernandez in center field. Hernandez has appeared in 23 games this season, over which he's hit .254/.347/.476 with three home runs.

Drury (impaired vision) will not return from the disabled list during the Yankees' series with the Astros this week, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Although Drury is reportedly feeling better and playing regularly with the team's Triple-A affiliate, the Yankees seem to be willing to wait things out a little longer. The strong play of youngsters Miguel Andujar and Gleyber Torres is also likely playing into this decision, making it seem as if the Yankees are unwilling to have Drury usurp either of those two infielders for playing time. According to Triple-A manager Bobby Mitchell, it sounds like Drury won't be ready to return for Friday's series opener against the Indians, Brendan Kuty of NJ.com reports.

Marte is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Dodgers.

Marte, who is hitting just .224/.259/.327 through 26 games this season, will head to the bench for what appears to be a regular day off after starting each of the previous three games at second base. In his place, Chris Owings will man the keystone and hit sixth.

Ngoepe is back in the big leagues, Mike Wilner of Sportsnet 590 The Fan reports.

Ngoepe was called up to replace the injured Randal Grichuk (knee). He spent the start of the season on the Blue Jays' bench but went just 1-for-18 with 12 strikeouts before being sent to Triple-A Buffalo in mid-April. Nothing in his profile suggests that he'll be much of a fantasy asset this time around, either.

Renda signed a minor-league contract with the Red Sox on Monday, MLB.com reports.

Renda played exclusively at the Triple-A level in 2017 while splitting time between the Cincinnati and Arizona systems, slashing .250/.293/.317 across 208 at-bats. He'll likely report to Triple-A Pawtucket or Double-A Portland with his new organization and will function as a depth option in the infield.

Urias (hamstring) rejoined the Triple-A El Paso lineup Sunday in the club's 6-4 loss to Salt Lake, reaching base in all five of his plate appearances and doubling twice.

Urias had been held out of El Paso's previous three games with a minor hamstring injury, but his flawless showing at the plate Sunday should put to rest any concerns about the 20-year-old's health. Power may not be a major part of Urias' game -- the two doubles represent 40 percent of his extra-base hit total this season -- but few prospects at any level of the minors can match the second baseman's combination of contact and on-base skills. Urias seems likely to supplant Carlos Asuaje as the Padres' everyday second baseman at some point this season and could quickly earn a spot near the top of the order.

The Blue Jays released Espinosa on Sunday.

After failing to crack the Blue Jays' Opening Day roster out of spring training, Espinosa accepted a minor-league assignment and reported to Triple-A Buffalo. Over 13 games with the affiliate, Espinosa slashed .232/.271/.286, providing little hope for him earning a promotion to the big club in the near future. Toronto elected to cut the veteran to make room for outfielder Ian Parmley on the Triple-A roster, allowing Espinosa to pursue opportunities elsewhere.

Hernandez batted third and went 1-for-3 with an RBI in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Giants.

The lefty-killer got the start in right field in place of Yasiel Puig (ankle) with the left-handed Ty Blach taking the mound for the Giants. Alex Verdugo and Joc Pederson figure to get the lion's share of starts in right against righties, with Hernandez filling in against southpaws. The 26-year-old had started four of the Dodgers' six contests prior to Puig's placement on the DL on Sunday, so he should be able to see enough starts around the diamond to provide value in deeper formats. Hernandez is slashing .254/.347/.476 with three homers in 75 plate appearances.

Solarte went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI Sunday as the Blue Jays defeated the Rangers 7-2.

Solarte's seventh home run of the year came in the second inning as he hit a solo shot off Martin Perez. Solarte has been a sound source of power early this year, as he's on track to surpass last season's career-high 18 home runs. Although his .231 batting average is underwhelming, Solarte has struck out in just 15.5 percent of his plate appearances, leaving room for him to approach his .265 career batting average.

Albies went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run, three RBI, three runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's win over the Phillies.

Albies has been nothing short of outstanding in the early going this season, as the dynamic second baseman has been a strong contributor in just about every offensive fantasy category. His relative lack of steals have been the only area in which his fantasy owners could've hoped for more production so far this season, but Albies has now stolen two bags in his last three games after having not swiped one in his 16 contests prior to that. Albies was used in the leadoff spot for just the second time all season Sunday in place of Ender Inciarte, who moved down to ninth in the order, and the Braves could stick with that lineup configuration moving forward based on the success the club found Sunday. If that's the case, Albies would likely benefit from more stolen-base opportunities than he might otherwise earn as the Braves' No. 2 hitter.
