Bryson Stott 2B | PHI
Phillies' Bryson Stott: Not starting Sunday
Stott is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.
Stott has five hits across the first two games in Pittsburgh but will take a seat for Sunday's series finale, ending a streak of 13 straight starts. Josh Harrison will man the keystone and bat seventh.

Luis Rengifo 2B | MIL
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Gets another turn as leadoff man
Rengifo will start at second base and bat leadoff in Sunday's game in Toronto, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
With Zach Neto having now sat out seven times in the Angels' last eight games due to back issues, Rengifo has received a temporary look as the Angels' table setter. Since Neto first exited the lineup July 22, Rengifo has reached base in each of the last seven contests while slashing .333/.375/.733 with six extra-base knocks.

Liover Peguero SS | PIT
Pirates' Liover Peguero: Second career homer
Peguero went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI on Saturday against the Phillies.
Peguero has been pushed out of playing time in the middle infield in recent days with Nick Gonzales serving as the primary starter at second base and Alika Williams at shortstop. However, Peguero made the case for more playing time by hitting his second big-league homer and also rolling an RBI single through the right side of the infield. He has multiple hits in two of his last three starts.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Starts Saturday
Rojas started at third base and went 0-for-3 in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Mariners.
Rojas returned to the majors after the Diamondbacks placed Evan Longoria (back) on the injured list Saturday. The lefty-hitting Rojas will share the hot corner with the righty-swinging Emmanuel Rivera, thought it's uncertain if it will be a strict right-left platoon.

Luis Garcia 2B | WAS
Nationals' Luis Garcia: Swipes eighth bag
Garcia went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's 11-6 win over the Mets.
The 23-year-old second baseman is heating up again, banging out five hits in the last two games and batting .314 (11-for-35) over his last 10. Garcia's production has been inconsistent this season, but he continues to tease some fantasy upside -- after beginning his big-league career having gone 4-for-11 on stolen base attempts over his first three seasons, he's 8-for-12 on the basepaths in 2023.

Michael Massey 2B | KC
Royals' Michael Massey: Launches another homer
Massey went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 10-7 win over the Twins.
He took Bailey Ober deep in the second inning to help the Royals leap out to an early 6-0 lead. Massey has gone yard four times in his last seven games to double his homer total on the season, and over that stretch he's batting .321 (9-for-28) with seven RBI. The 25-year-old's .220/.272/.358 slash line on the year remains poor, but it won't take much of a hot streak for him to lock down the starting job at the keystone for Kansas City -- the team ranks 25th this year in offensive WAR from the position at 0.3.

Jose Altuve 2B | HOU
Astros' Jose Altuve: Returning to form
Altuve went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run Saturday against the Rays.
Altuve tallied his first home run since returning from the injured list July 26. Though it came off catcher Rene Pinto, Altuve now has hits in back-to-back games after going hitless in the first contest he was activated. He's returned to his customary spot atop the Astros' order and is likely to remain there for the rest of the season, assuming he stays healthy.

Jonathan India 2B | KC
Reds' Jonathan India: Awaiting MRI results
India (heel) underwent an MRI on Saturday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
The 26-year-old has apparently dealt with soreness in his left heel over the past few weeks, but the injury worsened of late and resulted in him being scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Dodgers. India should be considered day-to-day heading into Sunday's series finale in Los Angeles, and the MRI results could soon shed some light on the severity of the issue.

Luisangel Acuna 2B | CHW
Mets' Luisangel Acuna: Sent to Mets for Scherzer
The Rangers traded Acuna to the Mets on Saturday in exchange for Max Scherzer, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
Acuna, who is the younger brother of Atlanta All-Star Ronald Acuna, was one of Texas' top prospects and will also be one of the top players in New York's farm system. The 21-year-old shortstop has a .323/.384/.472 slash line and 42 steals in 84 games at Double-A this season, so he could move up to Triple-A before the end of the campaign.

Jonathan India 2B | KC
Reds' Jonathan India: Scratched with heel issue
India was scratched from Saturday's lineup against the Dodgers due to left heel pain, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
India started the past three games at the keystone for Cincinnati, but it's unclear when he suffered the injury or if he'll be available off the bench Saturday. The 26-year-old should be considered day-to-day until more information is available.
