Jahmai Jones 2B | DET
Brewers' Jahmai Jones: Getting start at DH
Jones is starting at designated hitter and batting eighth in Monday's contest versus the Reds.
The right-handed hitting Jones is getting the call at DH over the left-handed hitting Jesse Winker against Reds righty Graham Ashcraft, who has fared better versus lefties this season. It's only Jones' second start in eight games since being recalled from Triple-A Nashville.

Jonathan India 2B | KC
Reds' Jonathan India: Sitting Monday
India is not in the starting lineup Monday against the Brewers.
India will take a seat after he went 2-for-10 with three walks and two strikeouts during the team's three-game series with Arizona. Matt McLain will take over at second base while Christian Encarnacion-Strand enters the lineup after some shuffling and bats seventh in the opener with Milwaukee.

Harold Castro 2B | KC
Rockies' Harold Castro: Joins lineup versus left-hander
Updating a previous report, Castro will start at second base and bat ninth in Monday's game against the Nationals, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.
The Rockies released a lineup earlier Monday that didn't include Castro, but he'll end up re-entering the starting nine after all. Though he typically gives way to platoon mate Alan Trejo at the keystone when the Rockies oppose lefties like the Nationals' Patrick Corbin, Colorado will make room for both Castro and Trejo by deploying the latter at third base in place of a resting Ryan McMahon.

Michael Massey 2B | KC
Royals' Michael Massey: Sitting versus lefty
Massey is out of the lineup for Monday's contest in Cleveland.
The 25-year-old will begin this one on the bench as left-handed Logan Allen toes the rubber for the Guardians. Massey has actually fared better against lefties this season with a .673 OPS versus a .593 OPS against righties, but opportunities against southpaws have been few and far between.

Andres Gimenez 2B | TOR
Guardians' Andres Gimenez: Pops solo shot
Gimenez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-5 extra-inning loss to the Phillies.
Gimenez took Aaron Nola deep in the second inning. While Gimenez has hit two homers over eight games since the All-Star break, he's batting just .200 (6-for-30) in that span. The second baseman has warmed up over the last couple of months, but he's still at a .244/.314/.390 slash line over 94 contests this season. He's added nine homers, 15 stolen bases, 38 RBI and 43 runs scored.

Brett Wisely 2B | ATL
Giants' Brett Wisely: Sits against southpaw
Wisely is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Tigers, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
The lefty-hitting Wisely will see his streak of nine consecutive starts at the keystone come to an end while David Villar mans second base in his stead as the Giants face off against southpaw Tarik Skubal. At least until Brandon Crawford (knee) returns from the injured list, Wisely should have a clear path to everyday playing time versus right-handers, and he was even included in the lineup in Sunday's 6-1 loss against the Nationals and southpaw MacKenzie Gore.

Michael Massey 2B | KC
Royals' Michael Massey: Homers Sunday
Massey went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 8-5 loss to the Yankees.
Massey now has three homers in his last three games after going 24 contests without a long ball. Even with his recent power surge, it's been a tough month at the plate for the 25-year-old Massey -- he's gone 9-for-46 with a .669 OPS in 14 games since the start of July. Overall, the 25-year-old second baseman is slashing .213/.267/.343 with seven homers, 29 RBI, 19 runs scored and three steals across 251 plate appearances this season.

Luis Arraez 2B | SF
Marlins' Luis Arraez: Collects trio of hits
Arraez went 3-for-4 with one double, two RBI and one run scored in Sunday's victory over Colorado.
Arraez notched his second consecutive multi-hit effort Sunday, plating Nick Fortes with an RBI double in the sixth and then notching a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th to give Miami the win. Over his last eight appearances, Arraez is batting .371 with seven RBI and two runs scored.
