Ha-seong Kim 2B | ATL
Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Swipes 17th bag
Kim went 3-for-8 with two walks, two runs scored and a stolen base across both games of Saturday's doubleheader against the Phillies.
The Padres got swept in the twin bill, but it was no fault of Kim's as he reached base three times while hitting leadoff in both contests. The 27-year-old extended his on-base streak to 12 games, a stretch in which he's slashing .302/.404/.488 with two of his 10 homers and four of his 17 steals on the season.

Brendan Donovan 2B | SEA
Cardinals' Brendan Donovan: Drives in five Saturday
Donovan went 2-for-8 with a home run, a triple, five RBI and two runs scored across both halves of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Nationals.
Donovan supplied a game-tying homer after play resumed from Friday's suspended contest. In the nightcap, he added a two-run triple in the second inning. The versatile 26-year-old has been hampered by an arm injury lately, which has limited him to designated hitter, but his bat has been too good to come out of the lineup. He's gone 12-for-33 (.364) over nine contests since he was cleared to return as the DH. Donovan is slashing .282/.367/.411 with nine home runs, 29 RBI, 38 runs scored and four stolen bases through 83 games this season.

Mauricio Dubon 2B | ATL
Astros' Mauricio Dubon: Racks up three hits Saturday
Dubon went 3-for-6 with one RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's 13-12 extra-inning loss to the Angels.
Dubon has gone 4-for-11 with three RBI and three runs scored over two games to begin the second half. The 28-year-old continues to see a starting role at second base with Jose Altuve (oblique) out of action, but manager Dusty Baker may have to find a spot for Dubon if he stays hot once Altuve returns. Dubon owns a .282/.305/.396 slash line with four home runs, 24 RBI, 49 runs scored and six stolen bases through 311 plate appearances, though his 3.2 percent walk rate doesn't exactly stand out for the profile of a regular leadoff hitter.

Luis Rengifo 2B | MIL
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Homers in Saturday's win
Rengifo went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 13-12 extra-inning win over the Astros.
Rengifo opened the scoring in the second inning with the first of the Angels' four homers. The versatile 26-year-old began to lose some playing time ahead of the All-Star break, but he's made starts at second base and third base to open the second half. He should continue to move around defensively while hitting in the bottom half of the lineup. Rengifo owns a .217/.308/.335 slash line with six homers, 25 RBI, 31 runs scored and five stolen bases through 253 plate appearances.

Brandon Drury 2B | KC
Angels' Brandon Drury: Hitting off tee
Drury (shoulder) will hit off a tee Saturday, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
It's the first time he's done any hitting since he landed on the injured list at the beginning of July with left shoulder inflammation. Drury is hopeful he can return to the Angels' lineup in a few days but acknowledged he'll probably have to play through some discomfort.

Jorge Polanco 1B | NYM
Twins' Jorge Polanco: Rehab begins Sunday
Polanco (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment Sunday, Do-Hyoung Park of MLB.com reports.
Polanco debuted back in 2014 and made it through the end of 2021 without ever hitting the injured list, but he went there twice last season and three times so far this year, including twice with a strained left hamstring. His latest injury has kept him out for over a month, but it doesn't look as though he'll miss too much more time.

Brandon Lowe 2B | PIT
Rays' Brandon Lowe: Hits bench for night game
Lowe will sit for the second half of Saturday's doubleheader against the Royals.
Lowe led off in the afternoon contest, going 1-for-3 with a pair of walks and a run scored. Taylor Walls will slide to second base for the nightcap, with Isaac Paredes taking Walls' spot at the hot corner.

Luis Garcia 2B | WAS
Nationals' Luis Garcia: Not starting nightcap
Garcia isn't in Washington's lineup for Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cardinals, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
Garcia went 0-for-3 with a walk and a run scored during Game 1 on Saturday and will now get a breather for the second game. Michael Chavis will take over at the keystone and bat ninth.

Jake Alu LF | WAS
Nationals' Jake Alu: Joins Nats as 27th man
The Nationals promoted Alu to serve as the 27th man for Saturday's doubleheader against the Cardinals, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.
Alu is slashing .311/.372/.453 with 39 RBI through 287 plate appearances in Triple-A Rochester. He has appeared in four games for Washington this season and figures to return to Triple-A following Saturday's nightcap.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Orioles' Adam Frazier: Sits against southpaw
Frazier will be on the bench Saturday against Miami, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Frazier hits the bench against lefty Braxton Garrett. With the Orioles' infield getting crowded by the arrival of multiple prospects, Frazier has seen his playing time slip. He hasn't started against a southpaw since May and has started against only two of the last four righties the Orioles have faced. Jordan Westburg will start at second base Saturday.
