Luis Guillorme 3B | HOU
Mets' Luis Guillorme: Headed to Triple-A
The Mets optioned Guillorme to Triple-A Syracuse on Wednesday.
He'll head down to the minors to clear room on the 26-man active roster for corner infielder Mark Vientos, who was called up from Triple-A. Guillorme is the Mets' best and most versatile defensive infielder, but his bat has been even weaker than usual this season and the floundering New York offense could benefit from the higher offensive upside that Vientos offers.

Turang has put together a nice month at the plate so far, slashing .325/.327/.425 with three homers, three RBI, five runs and a 3:12 BB:K over 43 plate appearances.
