Longoria went 0-for-3 with a walk in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Tigers.

Longoria's average now sits at .200 following Tuesday's action, and he's gone just 2-for-15 over the last four games. He also has just one extra-base hit over the last seven contests and hasn't homered since April 7 versus the Blue Jays. The 31-year-old slugger enjoyed a resurgent season in 2016, but his strikeout rate (33.8 percent) and contact rate (60 percent) are currently sitting at career lows, a major factor in his struggles thus far.

Ramirez went 2-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 11-4 win over the Twins.

He now has five multi-hit performances in his last six games, pushing Ramirez's slash line to .365/.417/.654. The 24-year-old had a breakthrough offensive season in 2016, but given his blistering start to this year, he may not have reached his ceiling yet.

Segura (hamstring) plans to play in two games on a rehab assignment before being activated from the disabled list, Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times reports.

The details of his rehab assignment haven't been specified, but Segura is still expected to rejoin the Mariners during their weekend series in Oakland (though it may not be Friday). Segura was 10-for-32 with three RBI and three stolen bases before injuring his hamstring. The 27-year-old is expected to reclaim his role at shortstop from Taylor Motter upon his activation.

Duffy (heel) started a running program Tuesday, Roger Mooney of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Duffy still sits without a firm timetable for return, but it seems that he's beginning to take strides toward his season debut. More information on his return date should become clear once he gets back to baseball activities, but in the meantime, Tim Beckham and Daniel Robertson will man shortstop.

Donaldson is expected to miss 2-to-4 weeks due to his latest calf issue, Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports reports.

From the onset, it seemed inevitable that the third baseman would need more time to recover than the minimum 10-day DL stint, but Rosenthal's report is the first such news that verifies an elongated timetable. The Jays now hope to have the slugger back sometime in early May. Look for the current platoon situation between Darwin Barney and Chris Coghlan to continue at third base in Donaldson's absence.

Segura (hamstring) is still expected to be activated from the 10-day disabled list Friday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports. "From what I understand he is," manager Scott Servais said. "You see him out there taking groundballs and taking a little BP. He hasn't really gotten after it 100 percent by any means yet. I will get an update from the trainers later in the day, but everything is leaning towards him being available for us when we get over to Oakland."

Segura was one of few bright spots for a moribund Mariners offense early, hitting .313 over his first 34 plate appearances before injuring his hamstring April 10. Taylor Motter has done a commendable job in his stead, reaching safely in all five games heading into Monday night's action while compiling two home runs and five RBI. Despite Motter's success, the Mariners will be glad to have Segura's potent bat back at the top of the order, while the former should continue seeing his fair share of opportunities due to his ability to play multiple positions.

Asche is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Yankees.

Asche finds himself on the bench for the third time in four games with the White Sox facing a left-handed starter. Manager Rick Renteria will hand the nod at DH to Yolmer Sanchez, who went 2-for-4 with a double Sunday against the Twins.

Ramirez went 1-for-2 with a walk and the Tribe's lone RBI in Sunday's 4-1 loss to Detroit.

A sacrifice fly in the sixth inning pushed Ramirez into a tie for the AL lead with 13 RBI. Although the Indians dropped their second straight home series, Ramirez made the most of his three-game set versus Detroit. He went 7-for-11 with seven RBI and scored four times while raising his average 79 points over the weekend. Ramirez is keeping up last year's high-end production, as he's now hitting .349/.412/.628 through 43 at-bats over the club's first 12 games.

Valencia went 2-for-4 with an RBI double in Sunday's 8-7 win over the Rangers.

Valencia brought the Mariners within one with a run-scoring two-bagger in the sixth that plated Kyle Seager, his second straight game with an extra-base hit. The modest accomplishment is nevertheless notable in Valencia's case, considering how extensive his struggles at the plate have been thus far this season. The veteran infielder is still hitting just .174, but the pop he's demonstrated in the last two games could be a sign that his bat is finally starting to come around.

Valencia went 1-for-4 with at triple in Saturday's 5-0 win over the Rangers.

Valencia blasted only his second extra-base hit of the season off Rangers starter Andrew Cashner, but his average still sits under the Mendoza Line at .196. The veteran infielder has been particularly valued for his ability to punish southpaws throughout his career, but he's been inept against either handedness thus far this season while in an everyday role at first base. The 32-year-old has also yet to go deep in 2017 despite having hit a combined 35 home runs in part-time duty with the Athletics and Blue Jays the last two seasons. Despite the forgettable start to the season, Valencia's established track record, which includes a career .269 average, would seem to indicate that a bounce-back is eventually in the cards.
