Miguel Vargas 2B | CHW
White Sox's Miguel Vargas: Knocks in one
Vargas went 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI, a run scored and a walk Saturday against the Mets.
Vargas has struggled since being dealt to the White Sox, as he has collected only eight hits across 76 at-bats with one homer, four RBI and five runs scored. While poor team context deflates some of his numbers, he's also struck out at a 27.9 percent clip in that span. Despite those struggles, Vargas has remained the White Sox's primary third baseman, which should continue at least until Yoan Moncada (thigh) can return.

Ramon Urias 3B | BAL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Sprains ankle Saturday
Urias sprained his right ankle during Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Rockies, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Urias was seen on crutches following Saturday's contest, and he will undergo further testing Sunday, per Danielle Allentuck of TheBaltimoreBanner.com. He sustained the injury in the eighth inning, when Ezequiel Tovar slid into third base and collided with Urias' right foot. It's likely Urias will be held out of Sunday's series finale, and depending on the results of his tests, he could also miss the Orioles' upcoming home series against the White Sox.

Luis Urias 3B | SEA
Mariners' Luis Urias: Promoted from Tacoma
The Mariners selected Urias' contract from Triple-A Tacoma on Saturday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.
Urias has been swinging a hot bat at Tacoma recently, slashing .333/.434/.578 with three homers, 10 RBI and 12 runs scored over 53 plate appearances across his last 12 games. His uptick in production has now been rewarded with a spot on the active roster, though he will have to compete for playing time at third base with Josh Rojas. In corresponding moves, Gabe Speier was optioned to Triple-A, and Terrin Vavra was designated for assignment.

Ernie Clement SS | TOR
Blue Jays' Ernie Clement: Getting rest Saturday
Clement isn't in Toronto's lineup Saturday against Minnesota.
Clement will get a breather Saturday after going 7-for-37 (.189) with two homers and eight RBI across the Jays' last 10 games. His absence will allow Leo Jimenez to pick up a start at shortstop and bat ninth.

Josh Jung 3B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Jung: Out of lineup Saturday
Jung is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the A's.
Josh Smith will start at third base and bat third against right-hander Joey Estes. Jung has hit safely in six of his last seven games and he swiped two bags Thursday, but the 26-year-old is still slashing just .229/.234/.314 with two homers in 27 games since returning from right wrist surgery.

Alex Bregman 3B | HOU
Astros' Alex Bregman: Remains out Saturday
Bregman (elbow) is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Royals, Matt Kawahara of the Houston Chronicle reports.
The third baseman will miss a second consecutive start due to elbow soreness, with Mauricio Dubon once again filling in at the hot corner. Bregman has been bothered by the elbow throughout August -- it cost him five games earlier in the month -- but there has been nothing to suggest an IL move will be necessary.

Jace Jung 2B | DET
Tigers' Jace Jung: On bench Saturday
Jung is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Red Sox.
Following an 0-for-5, two-strikeout showing Friday, Jung's slash line is down to .222/.327/.267 through his first 13 games. He's one of the organization's top prospects and the Tigers figure to give him some runway to show what he can do, but Jung will give way to Ryan Kreidler at third base against right-hander Nick Pivetta.
