Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Homers twice Sunday
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with two homers, a walk and three RBI in Sunday's win over the White Sox.
Ramirez went deep in the fifth and seven innings to stretch the Guardians' lead to 5-0. It's his second time in the last week he's had multiple home runs in a game, and he's also recorded three multi-hit efforts in his last five games. Ramirez hasn't struck out more than once in a game since July 16 and is one of three players who are currently striking out less than 10 percent of the time. The 30-year-old is enjoying another productive campaign, as he's slashing .292/.361/.510 with 18 homers, 63 RBI, 67 runs and a 46:45 BB:K over 457 plate appearances.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Steps out of lineup
LeMahieu is not in the lineup for Sunday's game at Baltimore.
LeMahieu started the past seven games and will receive a day off after he posted a .976 OPS with a 9:6 BB:K during that span. Isiah Kiner-Falefa will man the hot corner and bat fifth in Sunday's series finale.

Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Athletics' Jace Peterson: Sits against southpaw
Peterson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
Though he'll hit the bench for the third time in four games with southpaw Ty Blach on the hill for Colorado, the lefty-hitting Peterson still appears to have a hold on a strong-side platoon role at third base for the time being. After going 1-for-3 with two walks and a run scored in Saturday's 11-3 win, Peterson is slashing .313/.410/.438 with a home run and two stolen bases in 13 games since the All-Star break.

Eduardo Escobar 3B | TOR
Angels' Eduardo Escobar: Playing time trending up
Escobar will start at third base and bat seventh in Sunday's game in Toronto, Sam Blum of The Athletic reports.
Escobar appeared to settle into a part-time role coming out of the All-Star break, but injuries to multiple position players have since paved the way for the 34-year-old to pick up more work. He'll be in the lineup Sunday for the fifth time in seven games, with all of his starts during that stretch coming at first or third base.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Homers coming in bunches
Bregman went 1-for-3 with a home run, two walks, two RBI and two runs scored Saturday against the Rays.
Bregman was among a trio of Astros hitters to take backup catcher Rene Pinto deep. He now has 18 homers on the season, six of which have come in 14 games since the All-Star break. In that same span, Bregman has also chipped in 12 runs scored and 10 RBI while hitting .340.

Zack Gelof 2B | ATH
Athletics' Zack Gelof: Busy in Saturday's win
Gelof went 2-for-6 with a solo home run, two stolen bases and three runs scored in Saturday's 11-3 win over the Rockies.
Gelof was able to make an impact with power and speed, providing a taste of what the top prospect can do at his best. He's homered in consecutive contests and is up to three long balls over 13 games in his big-league career. The second baseman has added five steals, six RBI and 10 runs scored through 56 plate appearances.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: Clubs pair of homers
Paredes went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and a solo home run in Saturday's loss against the Astros.
Paredes clobbered his 19th and 20th long balls of the season Saturday, tagging Hunter Brown and Rafael Montero for homers throughout the contest. The outing broke Paredes out of a mini-slump after he entered the contest 1-for-12 (.083) over his last four games. With both of Saturday's homers coming off right-handed pitching, Paredes further solidified his reverse splits, as he is slashing .261/.367/.535 with a .274 ISO versus righties while slashing .246/.342/.420 with a .174 ISO against lefties.

Trey Cabbage 1B | PIT
Angels' Trey Cabbage: Sitting Saturday
Cabbage isn't in the Angels' lineup Saturday against the Blue Jays, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.
The Angels appear to have fallen into a pattern of giving Cabbage a day off every other game, and Saturday marks a rest day for the 26-year-old. Mike Moustakas will start at first base for Anaheim, allowing Eduardo Escobar to man the hot corner.

Zack Gelof 2B | ATH
Athletics' Zack Gelof: Launches second homer
Gelof went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in a win over the Rockies on Friday.
Gelof squared up for his second career round-tripper in the fifth inning with Tony Kemp aboard to extend the Athletics' lead to 7-1 at the time. The rookie had gone into the game mired in a 1-for-12 slump that had encompassed his previous three games, although he'd reached safely in seven of his first eight big-league contests prior to the brief skid. Gelof will undoubtedly continue to experience his share of bumps in the road as he acclimates to big-league arms, but he's demonstrated plenty of upside thus far by lacing seven of his first 10 hits for extra bases while also pulling off three steals in four attempts.

Josh Jung 3B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Jung: Knocks three hits in loss
Jung went 3-for-4 with two doubles and a run scored in Friday's 7-1 loss to San Diego.
Jung was the lone highlight for the Rangers, whose bats couldn't do much against starter Joe Musgrove. Jung, who led off the ninth inning with a single, crossed the plate for Texas' lone run after a bases-loaded walk. The rookie third baseman has hit safely in five of the last six games with a home run and three doubles.
