Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Angels' Anthony Rendon: Dealing with bruised shin
Rendon was pulled from Tuesday's game against San Diego with a left shin contusion.
X-rays came back negative after Rendon fouled a ball off his left leg. While it appears he avoided serious injury, a stint on the injured list isn't completely out of the question. Eduardo Escobar figures to see an uptick in playing time should Rendon sit out.

Angels' Anthony Rendon: Exits with injury
Rendon was removed from Tuesday's game against the Padres after fouling a ball off his left knee, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.
Rendon immediately collapsed to the ground after fouling a ball off his knee and appeared to be in a great deal of pain. He had to be helped off the field by trainers and was replaced by Eduardo Escobar. More information regarding Rendon's injury will be available in the near future, but early signs aren't reassuring.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Rehab assignment coming after break
White Sox general manager Rick Hahn said Tuesday that Moncada (back) could begin a rehab assignment after the All-Star break, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.
Hahn's statement seemingly rules out the possibility of Moncada returning before the All-Star break, and it appears he might not be available immediately afterwards either. The 28-year-old third baseman has been on the injured list since June 15 due to a lingering back issue and is slashing .232/.279/.370 on the season.

Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU
Rays' Isaac Paredes: In Tuesday's lineup
Paredes (ribs) is starting at third base and batting fifth Tuesday against the Phillies, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Paredes was involved in a nasty collision with the Mariners' Ty France during Sunday's game, but he escaped without an injury and won't have to miss any contests. The 24-year-old hit his 14th home run of the season Sunday before exiting that tilt.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Yankees' Josh Donaldson: Not in Tuesday's lineup
Donaldson is absent from the lineup for Tuesday's contest against the Orioles, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.
It marks three times in the last five games that Donaldson has been on the bench, and he's started just one contest at third base over that stretch. He's batting just .131 on the season.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Absent from lineup
LeMahieu is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest versus the Orioles, Pete Caldera of The Bergen Record reports.
LeMahieu started the last eight games -- including the last seven in the leadoff spot -- but will take a seat for this one. Isiah Kiner-Falefa is at third base and Anthony Rizzo is batting leadoff.

Maikel Garcia 3B | KC
Royals' Maikel Garcia: Continues red-hot stretch
Garcia went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and two walks in a loss to Minnesota on Monday.
Garcia batted out of the leadoff spot for the third straight game and made his presence felt immediately, launching a homer off Joe Ryan to begin the contest. The talented rookie went on to reach base three more times and finished with his fourth straight multi-hit performance. Over that stretch, Garcia has gone a scorching 11-for-15 with four runs, three RBI, two steals and just one strikeout.

Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Angels' Mike Moustakas: Sitting versus lefty
Moustakas is not in the lineup for Monday's game versus the Padres, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Red-hot left-hander Blake Snell is taking the ball for the Padres, so Moustakas will take a seat. Hunter Renfroe will get a start at first base Monday, with Luis Rengifo handling right field.

Royce Lewis 3B | MIN
Twins' Royce Lewis: Has Grade 2 oblique strain
Lewis has been diagnosed with a Grade 2 left oblique strain, Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
The moderate strain typically requires a recovery period of around six weeks, which means Lewis could potentially be sidelined into mid-August. It's yet another injury setback for Lewis, who didn't make his season debut for the Twins until late May as he recovered from a second ACL surgery. Jose Miranda is making a second straight start at third base for the Twins on Monday.

Curtis Mead 3B | WAS
Rays' Curtis Mead: Returns with big weekend
Mead (wrist) was reinstated from Triple-A Durham's 7-day injured list Thursday and went 5-for-9 with two doubles, one triple, two walks, four runs and two RBI in his first two games back with the affiliate.
Mead ended up missing two months with the wrist injury, which he suffered when he was hit by a pitch April 29. The prolonged absence likely means that Mead's big-league debut isn't imminent, though the 22-year-old didn't help his case for a promotion by posting a modest .646 OPS in 22 games prior to being shelved with the injury. The fact that Mead has turned in a pair of strong hitting performances since being activated is at least a promising early sign that his power hasn't been compromised by the recent wrist injury.
