Urshela went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 7-3 loss against the Orioles.

Urshela led off the fifth inning with a double before scoring on Zach Neto's base hit. The 31-year-old Urshela would add a second hit in the sixth, driving in Matt Thaiss to cut Anaheim's deficit to 4-3. Urshela has swung that bat well recently, slashing .341/.357/.415 over his last 11 games. He'd been filling a utility role for the Angels, though he'll take over as the regular third baseman while Anthony Rendon (groin) is sidelined. Urshela is batting .295 with one homer and a .667 OPS through 151 plate appearances on the campaign.

Maton is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Pirates.

Maton will take a seat while the Tigers deploy a lineup of nine right-handed hitters to counter Pirates southpaw Rich Hill. The lefty-hitting Maton could soon be in danger of seeing fewer opportunities against right-handed pitching as well; he's getting on base at a .194 clip in May and is maintaining a lowly .564 OPS over 130 plate appearances on the season.

Burger went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Guardians.

Burger took Shane Bieber deep in the fifth inning to tally his ninth homer of the season. It was his second long ball in as many games since he returned from an oblique injury Sunday, and he should get regular run as the White Sox's designated hitter so long as Eloy Jimenez (abdomen) is sidelined. Overall, Burger has hit .253/.329/.680 across 85 plate appearances, albeit with a 31.8 percent strikeout rate.

Paredes went 2-for-3 with two homers, a walk and five RBI in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Mets.

Paredes put the Rays on the board with a three-run blast to left in the third inning. He would take Justin Verlander yard again his next time up in the fifth, this time a two-run shot to put his team up 6-0. The 24-year-old lifted his slash line to .289/.368/.492 with six homers, 28 RBI, 24 runs and a 9:24 BB:K over 144 plate appearances. He's turned it up especially of late, as he's tallied eight hits and seven RBI while registering a 2:1 BB:K over his last five games.

Farmer went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk and three RBI in Tuesday's 5-1 win over the Dodgers.

Farmer continues to hit well since returning from a mouth injury, going 10-for-27 (370) over his last seven contests. He provided an RBI single to open the scoring in the first inning Tuesday, then gave the Twins some insurance with a two-run homer in the ninth. The infielder is up to a .293/.364/.483 slash line with three long balls, 12 RBI, 12 runs scored and two doubles through 18 games.

The Guardians placed Ramirez on the bereavement list Tuesday, Zack Meisel of The Athletic reports.

Ramirez can miss up to seven days while he tends to the personal matter. The Guardians called up infielder Brayan Rocchio from Triple-A Columbus in a corresponding move.

Urias (hamstring) hopes to be ready to return when the Orioles return home from their road trip on May 26, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

Urias resumed workouts in recent days and his strained left hamstring is feeling better. He has not yet done any running, which will obviously be a big test, but it sounds like he has a shot to make it back before the end of the month.

Peterson went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Monday.

Peterson's 409-foot shot to right center in the eighth inning accounted for the Athletics' final run of the night. The veteran is still carrying a lackluster .212/.308/.327 slash line across 130 plate appearances for the season, but he's now reached safely in seven of the last eight games, a stretch during which he's hitting .333 with two home runs, four walks, four RBI and three runs over 25 plate appearances.

Suarez went 2-for-4 with a home run, two total runs, two total RBI and a walk in Monday's 10-1 win against Boston.

Suarez hit one of three Mariners homers in the blowout win, walloping a 434-foot shot to center field in the eighth inning. The long ball was just the second for Suarez over his past 26 games, a stretch during which he has batted .181 with only four extra-base hits and 29 strikeouts. The veteran has just four homers on the campaign after going deep at least 31 times in each of his previous four full seasons (excluding the shortened 2020 campaign).

Bregman went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Monday's win over the Cubs.

Bregman drilled a two-run shot to put the Astros ahead in the seventh inning. He was stuck in a 6-for-34 (.176) slump over his previous nine games since his last home run May 3. Bregman boosted his slash line to .212/.324/.346 with 10 extra-base hits and 18 RBI through 41 games.
