Abraham Toro 1B | BOS
Mariners' Abraham Toro: Filling in for Suarez
Toro will start at third base and bat seventh in Monday's game against the Angels.
He'll stick in the lineup for the third game in a row after going 2-for-7 with a double between the previous two contests. With Eugenio Suarez (finger) moving to the injured list Saturday, Toro looks like he'll settle in as the Mariners' everyday third baseman for the time being.

Tyler Freeman 3B | COL
Guardians' Tyler Freeman: Picking up playing time
Freeman will start at third base and bat seventh in Monday's game against the Twins, Joe Noga of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
He'll pick up his third consecutive start in a row, all of which have come against right-handed pitchers. Through his first 72 big-league plate appearances, Freeman is slashing .254/.333/.302, but the Guardians may view that modest level of production as an upgrade over what the slumping Owen Miller is currently providing. Miller, who is on the bench for the fourth time in six games, owns a .579 OPS in the second half.

Josh Jung 3B | TEX
Rangers' Josh Jung: Homers in series finale
Jung went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, two RBI and a strikeout during Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers.
Although the Rangers struggled to generate much offensive production Sunday, Jung performed well with his first multi-hit performance since his major-league debut Sept. 9. The 24-year-old has recorded hits in eight of his first 10 games with the Rangers and has hit .250 with three home runs, three doubles, six RBI, four runs and a stolen base.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Drives in three runs
Devers went 4-for-6 with a double and three RBI in Sunday's 13-3 win over the Royals.
Devers knocked a two-run single in the fifth inning followed by another RBI single in the eighth. It's been an up-and-down September for the star third baseman; after three straight multi-hit games to begin the month, Devers hit just .216 over his next 10 games before Sunday's strong effort. He's now slashing .292/.351/.527 with 66 extra-base hits and 82 RBI through 556 plate appearances.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Angels' Matt Duffy: Receives breather
Duffy is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners, Sarah Valenzuela of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Luis Rengifo will step in at third base while Duffy rests after starting 13 of the Angels' last 15 games at either corner-infield spot. Since his return from the injured list Aug. 29, Duffy is slashing .200/.273/.300 with three extra-base hits.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Yankees' Josh Donaldson: Goes deep again Saturday
Donaldson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss to Milwaukee.
New York managed little offense against the combination of Brandon Woodruff and Devin Williams, but Donaldson ensured that the team didn't get shut out with his solo homer in the fourth inning. The long ball was his second in as many days and his third over his past six games. Donaldson still has just 15 homers on the campaign and has struggled with a 26.4 percent strikeout rate, which is on pace to be his worst mark over any full season in his career.

Ramon Urias 3B | STL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Riding pine Sunday
Urias is not in Sunday's lineup against the Blue Jays, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Urias is hitting .217 with two doubles, 12 strikeouts and six walks in 14 games this month. Terrin Vavra enters the lineup at second base, hitting sixth.

Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Another multi-hit game

Henderson notched a two-run single to get Baltimore within one off righty starter Jose Berrios in the third inning. The infielder has recorded two hits in four straight games and boasts an outstanding 1.281 OPS over 27 plate appearances in his last seven games. The 21-year-old rookie has tallied four doubles, a triple and a home run in 25 at-bats during that span.

Urshela sparked the Twins' eighth-inning rally in the nightcap with a two-run single. He's hit safely in 10 of his last 11 games, batting .439 (18-for-41) in that span.
