Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Connects on homer, double
Ramirez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run and RBI during Saturday's 4-3 win against Seattle.
Ramirez got Cleveland on the board with a solo shot off Seattle starter Luis Castillo in the fourth and keyed an eighth-inning rally with an RBI double followed by the game-winning run. The solid performance puts him in a 9-for-25 stretch with four home runs across his last seven games that's upped Ramirez's season line to .285/.356/.553 with 26 home runs, 71 runs and a second-best 106 RBI.

Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Goes deep in rout
Candelario went 2-for-5 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Saturday's 11-2 win over the Rangers.

He hit his 11th home run of the season in the sixth inning against Dallas Keuchel with a runner on and also drove in another run on a ninth inning ground out. It's still been a struggle this year for Candelario, who has a .603 OPS after recording a .794 OPS in 2021.

Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Drives in three runs Saturday
Candelario went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, two total runs and three total RBI in Saturday's 11-2 victory versus the Rangers.
Candelario's sixth-inning two-run homer gave Detroit a 7-1 lead, and he added an RBI on a fielder's choice groundout in the ninth. The long ball was his first since July 26 -- a span of 25 games. Candelario knocked only four extra-base hits (all doubles) and batted a meager .160 during the power drought, so he's mostly fallen off the fantasy radar.

Jake Burger 3B | TEX
White Sox's Jake Burger: Dealing with fractured wrist
Burger is expected to miss several weeks due to a non-displaced left wrist fracture, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
Burger dealt with a hand issue earlier this season and sustained his most recent injury when he was hit by a pitch Aug. 20. The 26-year-old was placed on the 7-day injured list this week but will likely need to spend more than the minimum amount of time on the shelf prior to returning to action at Triple-A Charlotte.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Placed on injured list
Moncada was placed on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain Saturday, retroactive to Aug. 26.
Moncada exited Thursday's matchup against the Orioles due to a hamstring issue, and the injury will ultimately sideline him for at least a week and a half. It's not yet clear when the White Sox expect him to return, but Josh Harrison and Romy Gonzalez are strong candidates to see increased playing time at third base, particularly after Leury Garcia (back) was reinstated from the injured list Saturday.

Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Reaches, scores twice Friday
Candelario went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and two runs scored in Friday's loss to the Rangers.
Candelario is now riding a modest two-game hitting streak, though he's batting just .129 this month and .196 for the season. The 28-year-old should continue to see regular playing time at third base the rest of this season, but it remains to be seen what his role might be in 2023, as his current contract expires at the end of the year.
