Taylor Walls 3B | TB
Rays' Taylor Walls: Smacks fourth homer
Walls went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Wednesday against the Red Sox.
Walls has started all four games at shortstop since Wander Franco went down with a fractured wrist. On Wednesday he tallied his fourth home run of the season and first since June 7. Walls has maintained just a .165/.246/.274 line across 256 plate appearances this season, but the Rays have continued to find him a regular spot in the starting lineup.

Jose Miranda 3B | MIN
Twins' Jose Miranda: Slugs walk-off homer
Miranda went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run Wednesday against the Brewers.
Miranda was the hero Wednesday as he slugged a walk-off home run in the ninth inning -- his eighth long ball of the season. He's started 11 of the Twins' last 14 games -- primarily at first base -- and after the performance, he's hitting .348 with four home runs, 16 RBI and five runs scored in that span. Though Miranda isn't locked into a single position, he has certainly helped his cause to remain a regular in the lineup with his recent performance. Miranda owns a .260/.299/.463 line across 187 plate appearances overall this season.

Abraham Toro 1B | BOS
Mariners' Abraham Toro: Likely to lose playing time
Toro is out of the lineup for the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader with the Nationals.
Toro went 0-for-3 with a walk in the front end of the doubleheader, which was his 11th start in 13 games. He's benefited from the Mariners having one of J.P. Crawford, Jesse Winker or Julio Rodriguez out for each of the past 11 contests while the trio had their suspensions staggered out, but Toro will likely lose out on playing time now that each of the three has served their respective bans.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Returns to third base
Devers will start at third base and bat second in Wednesday's game against the Rays, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.
After missing three straight games due to back discomfort, Devers checked back into the lineup Tuesday at designated hitter and went 1-for-4 with a strikeout in Boston's 3-2 loss. Though manager Alex Cora previously expressed some hesitation about using Devers at third base on the turf at Tampa Bay's Tropicana Field, the 25-year-old's inclusion in the lineup at the hot corner suggests he's feeling good following his return to action a day ago.

Ramon Urias 3B | STL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Collects three hits, homer
Urias went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in a 4-2 win against the Cubs on Tuesday.
Urias did his damage early off Chicago starter Adrian Sampson with a single in the second inning, a two-run long ball in the fourth and another single in the sixth. The three-hit performance continued a strong opening to July for the 28-year-old Urias, who's slashing .417/.462/.542 through 24 at-bats.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Singles in return
Devers (back) went 1-for-4 in a 3-2 loss Tuesday in Tampa Bay.
After sitting out the last three games with a back injury, Devers hit third and served as the designated hitter for Boston. He singled in the sixth off Corey Kluber but was left stranded. The 25-year-old will be an All-Star for the second straight year and is having arguably the best season of his career. He leads the American League in hits and is second in runs scored, total bases, batting average and OPS among qualified batters.

Jose Miranda 3B | MIN
Twins' Jose Miranda: Heads to bench Tuesday
Miranda is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Brewers, Aaron Gleeman of The Athletic reports.
Miranda is without a clear path to everyday playing time, but the Twins should continue to carve out a part-time role for the rookie while he's swinging a hot bat. Though he'll be on the bench Tuesday, Miranda had started in six of the Twins' past seven games while going 6-for-22 with two home runs, a double, two walks, seven RBI and three runs.

Rafael Devers 3B | SF
Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Back in lineup as DH
Devers (back) is batting third as the designated hitter Tuesday in Tampa Bay, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.
As expected, Devers is back in the lineup, but manager Alex Cora is being cautious and keeping his best player away from third base. Devers figures to return to full capacity sometime in the next few days, barring any setbacks.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Sits out nightcap
Moncada isn't starting Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader versus Cleveland.
The struggling infielder went 0-for-4 with a pair of strikeouts against Shane Bieber in the afternoon loss. Josh Harrison will start at third base Tuesday evening.

Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: On bench Tuesday
Candelario isn't starting Tuesday's game against the Royals.
Candelario went 1-for-8 in Monday's doubleheader and is hitting .194 in 10 games this month. Willi Castro starts at third base Tuesday.
