Chapman went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's victory over the Athletics.

Chapman walked in the fifth inning before he later took James Kaprielian deep for a solo shot in the seventh frame. He also added a single in his final at-bat in the ninth. The homer was his 13th of the season and he has now gone deep in back-to-back games. Chapman came into Tuesday's contest in the midst of an 0-for-16 stretch from the plate, but he went 5-for-7 with two homers and three RBI in the final two games of the series to snap out of the cold spell.

Moncada exited Wednesday's game against the Twins due to a right foot contusion, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

Moncada appeared to be walking gingerly after fouling a ball off his right foot in the fourth inning Wednesday and was ultimately replaced defensively in the top of the seventh. However, he underwent X-rays that came back negative, so he's considered day-to-day. If the 27-year-old misses additional time, Josh Harrison and Leury Garcia should see increased looks at the hot corner.

Moncada was removed in the top of the seventh inning of Wednesday's game against the Twins with an apparent foot injury, James Fegan of The Athletic reports. He went 1-for-3 with a base hit prior to his departure.

Moncada is believed to have suffered the injury during his fourth-inning plate appearance, when he looked to be in discomfort after fouling a ball off his foot. He initially stayed in the contest and came to the plate once more before departing three innings later, with Josh Harrison coming off the bench to replace him during a tie game. Expect the White Sox to provide another update on Moncada's condition after the game.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Devers won't start Wednesday against the Rays while tending to a "little bit" of right hamstring soreness and back tightness, Steve Hewitt of the Boston Herald reports.

When Devers sat out Tuesday's 8-4 loss, the prevailing thought was that he was receiving a routine maintenance day after starting each of Boston's previous 10 contests. However, Cora clarified Wednesday that the 25-year-old is banged up with multiple minor injuries, though none appear significant enough to result in a trip to the 10-day injured list. In fact, Cora indicated that Devers will be available off the bench if needed Wednesday, per Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe. Christian Arroyo will fill in at third base Wednesday in place of Devers, who could be ready to go for Thursday's series opener with the Yankees.

Paredes is not in the starting lineup Wednesday versus the Red Sox, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Paredes will get a breather after he went 2-for-7 with an RBI and two walks in the first two games of the series. Ji-Man Choi will take over at first base and bat fourth against Boston.

Moncada went 1-for-4 with a double and an RBI on Tuesday in the White Sox's 8-2 loss to the Twins.

Since being activated from the 10-day injured list a week ago, Moncada has started in each of the White Sox's subsequent seven games, going 6-for-29 (.207 average) with two doubles, five RBI, one run and a 0:11 BB:K. The 27-year-old will remain in the lineup at third base for Wednesday's series finale, though he'll move down from sixth to seventh in the batting order with Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) making his long-awaited return from the 60-day injured list.

Burger was placed on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a bone bruise in his right hand.

Burger had lost out on playing time recently following Yoan Moncada's return from the IL, and he's now dealing with a hand injury that will force him to miss at least a week and a half. It's not yet clear when the 26-year-old will return to action, but he'll be eligible to be activated shortly before the All-Star break. Since he hadn't started in any of the eight games prior to landing on the injured list, he isn't guaranteed a spot on the active roster once he's deemed fully healthy.

Candelario is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Guardians.

He'll sit for the second time in the four-game series, after he previously headed to the bench for the second contest of Monday's doubleheader. Though Candelario was productive in Tuesday's 11-4 win by going 1-for-4 with a walk, two runs and an RBI, he's still cobbled together an unremarkable .222/.333/.250 in 11 games since coming off the 10-day injured list June 20. Kody Clemens will pick up the start at third base Wednesday, and he and Harold Castro could continue to encroach on Candelario's playing time until the 28-year-old starts to get going at the plate.

Chapman went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Athletics.

Chapman tied the game at 2-2 with his second-inning blast. The third baseman was ice cold to begin July, with his long ball snapping an 0-for-16 skid. He's now batting .220/.293/.407 with 12 homers, 39 RBI, 41 runs scored and 14 doubles through 300 plate appearances in his first year with the Blue Jays.

Bregman went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 9-7 win over the Royals.

Bregman reached the 10-homer mark for the year with his fifth-inning blast. The 28-year-old has a pair of three-hit efforts in his last seven games, going 9-for-27 (.333) in that span. The third baseman is up to a .244/.359/.417 slash line with 42 RBI, 43 runs scored and 17 doubles through 77 contests overall, while he's steadily trended up over the last three weeks or so.
