Chapman went 3-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Athletics.

Chapman tied the game at 2-2 with his second-inning blast. The third baseman was ice cold to begin July, with his long ball snapping an 0-for-16 skid. He's now batting .220/.293/.407 with 12 homers, 39 RBI, 41 runs scored and 14 doubles through 300 plate appearances in his first year with the Blue Jays.

Bregman went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double and two total runs scored in Tuesday's 9-7 win over the Royals.

Bregman reached the 10-homer mark for the year with his fifth-inning blast. The 28-year-old has a pair of three-hit efforts in his last seven games, going 9-for-27 (.333) in that span. The third baseman is up to a .244/.359/.417 slash line with 42 RBI, 43 runs scored and 17 doubles through 77 contests overall, while he's steadily trended up over the last three weeks or so.

Miranda will start at third base and bat seventh in Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

Miranda will pick up his third start in a row and has now replaced Gio Urshela at third base on two of those occasions. Now that the Twins have nearly all of their key everyday players back from the injured list, the hot corner looks as though it could represent Miranda's most realistic path to consistent playing time moving forward. Urshela still remains atop the depth chart, but Miranda has outperformed him since the rookie was called up from Triple-A St. Paul on May 30. In the month-plus since that time, Miranda has produced an .824 OPS, a mark 89 points higher than Urshela's.

Urshela is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox.

Urshela is sitting for the second time in three games and could be in danger of falling into a timeshare at third base with rookie Jose Miranda. After getting off to a rough start to his big-league career upon his initial promotion from Triple-A St. Paul at the start of May, Miranda has shown major improvement in his second stint with the big club. Dating back to his May 30 call-up, Miranda has produced an .824 OPS, while Urshela's sits at .735 over that same span.

Devers is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rays, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Though shortstop Xander Bogaerts (thigh) is back in the lineup after a one-game absence, Christian Arroyo will maintain a spot on the left side of the infield while he fills in for the lefty-hitting Devers, who appears to be getting some routine maintenance with Tampa Bay bringing a lefty (Jeffrey Springs) to the hill. Devers isn't in any danger of falling into a platoon at third base, but manager Alex Cora may have viewed the lefty-on-lefty matchup as reason enough to give the 25-year-old some rest following a string of 10 consecutive starts. Devers should be back in action for Wednesday's series finale.

Toro went 2-for-3 with a run-scoring infield single, an RBI double and two walks in a win over the Padres on Monday.

Toro's busy day on the basepaths extended what has been a strong stretch at the plate for the 25-year-old, who now boasts a .333 average and .922 OPS over the 30 plate appearances he's logged in his last eight games. The 25-year-old has an impressively modest 16.0 percent strikeout rate on the campaign, but an atypically low .192 BABIP has certainly played a part in his ugly .187/.236/.338 season line. Toro has started each of the past seven contests and should have a lock on a near-everyday role while Jesse Winker serves the final five games of his suspension and while Kyle Lewis (concussion) remains on the 7-day injured list.

Bride (shoulder) took part in pregame sprints before Monday's game against the Blue Jays, but a return from the injured list in the minimum amount of time is still "not realistic," according to manager Mark Kotsay, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Bride hit the injured list Tuesday, and he received a cortisone injection to remove fluid from his strained shoulder a day later. The rookie would be eligible to first return July 6, but Kotsay cast significant doubt on that possibility because of the time the cortisone injection takes to have full effect. The Athletics skipper also noted a rehab assignment remains a possibility for Bride depending how his recovery continues to unfold.

Candelario is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Monday's doubleheader against the Guardians.

Candelario went 0-for-4 in the first game of Monday's twin bill, so he will open the second contest on the bench. Harold Castro will man the hot corner in Candelario's place.

Urias (oblique) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Monday.

Urias began a rehab assignment over the weekend and went 0-for-7 with a walk and three strikeouts over two games at Double-A Bowie. He isn't starting Monday against the Rangers but should see playing time at third base now that he's back to full health. However, he'll have some competition for at-bats at the hot corner since Jonathan Arauz was recalled June 25.

Walls isn't in the lineup Monday against the Red Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Walls started in the last three games and went 3-for-11 with a double, two runs, an RBI and a stolen base. He'll get a breather while Isaac Paredes shifts to the keystone with Ji-Man Choi starting at first base.
