Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Orioles' Jace Peterson: Swipes fourth bag
Peterson went 1-for-4 with an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored Sunday against Toronto.
Peterson kicked off the scoring in this one with a single to left field, setting the tone early for his club. The 29-year-old has appeared in 10 games since being recalled July 25, though he's hitting just .184 (7-for-38) with four RBI.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Takes seat Sunday
LeMahieu is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox, James Wagner of The New York Times reports.
LeMahieu is presumably just receiving some maintenance after he recently overcame a minor groin strain, which kept him out of the lineup for four games. He started the subsequent three contests -- including both ends of Saturday's doubleheader -- going 6-for-14 with two home runs, four RBI and three runs. Gleyber Torres will fill in for LeMahieu as the Yankees' leadoff man in the series finale.

Matt Duffy 3B | TEX
Rays' Matt Duffy: Leading off versus lefty
Duffy will start at third base and bat leadoff Sunday against the Marlins, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
The Rays appear to have at least temporarily committed to Duffy as their main leadoff option against left-handed pitching, as he'll hit atop the lineup for the team's third straight matchup versus a southpaw (Caleb Smith). Duffy has also seen steady action against right-handed pitching over the past two weeks and should be a fixture in the starting nine until the Rays return Yandy Diaz (foot) from the 10-day injured list.

Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Blasts two homers
LeMahieu went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI in a 9-2 win over the Red Sox in the first game of a doubleheader Saturday.
The 31-year-old's outstanding season continued Saturday, as he hit his 16th and 17th homers off Chris Sale. LeMahieu has a .338/.385/.535 slash line in 400 at-bats this season.

Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Rejoins lineup Friday
LeMahieu (groin) is leading off and starting at second base Friday against the Red Sox.
LeMahieu hasn't played since July 26 due to a minor groin strain, but he'll return to the lineup as expected Friday. The 31-year-old finished July with a .282/.341/.449 slash line over 19 games.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Out at least two weeks
Moncada (hamstring) is expected to miss about two weeks, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Moncada was officially placed on injured list Thursday and will apparently miss more than the minimum 10 days, but not much more. Ryan Goins has been filling in for Moncada at third base.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Reaches base five times in win
Bregman went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double, two runs batted in and two walks in Thursday's win over Cleveland.
Bregman launched a 403-foot homer to left field in the fourth inning and drove home another run with a single in the seventh. It was the first time he has reached base five times in a game this season, and the three-hit effort was his seventh of the campaign. The 25-year-old is now slashing .265/.400/.531 with 27 home runs and 65 RBI over 473 plate appearances in 2019.

Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Athletics' Matt Chapman: Cranks go-ahead homer
Chapman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Oakland's 5-3 victory over the Brewers on Thursday.
Chapman had gone hitless in 12 at-bats since his last long ball on July 27, but he broke out in a big spot in this contest, cranking a go-ahead two-run blast off Josh Hader in the eighth inning that put the Athletics ahead for good. The All-Star third baseman has endured some dry spells at the dish this season, but he's managed to offset them with enough hot streaks that leave him with solid numbers overall, as he's slashing .261/.341/.524 to go along with 24 homers and 64 RBI across 452 plate appearances.

Yoan Moncada 3B | LAA
White Sox's Yoan Moncada: IL move official
The White Sox officially placed Moncada (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list Thursday.
Reports first surfaced Wednesday indicating Moncada would be bound for the IL after an MRI earlier that day revealed he was dealing with a Grade 1 hamstring strain. The White Sox recalled outfielder Ryan Cordell from Triple-A Charlotte in a corresponding move, but Ryan Goins will likely act as the primary replacement for Moncada in the infield.

DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Expects to play Friday
Manager Aaron Boone said that LeMahieu (groin) has shown improved condition of late and will likely rejoin the lineup for Friday's game against the Red Sox, Mike Mazzeo of Yahoo Sports reports.
Boone indicated that LeMahieu was available as a pinch hitter for Wednesday's 7-5 win over the Diamondbacks, but the infielder ultimately wasn't summoned from the bench. LeMahieu, who has been held out of the lineup for three consecutive games, should benefit from a team off day Thursday before likely making his return to the starting nine for the series opener with Boston if he checks out fine during his Friday warmup. LeMahieu has mostly played second and third base this season, but he could see more usage at first base in the upcoming weeks with Luke Voit (sports hernia) at risk of being sidelined until mid-to-late September.
