Bregman is not in the starting lineup versus Toronto on Wednesday, Jake Kaplan of The Athletic reports.

As expected, manager A.J. Hinch decided to rest most of his starters after the club clinched the AL West following Oakland's loss to Seattle on Wednesday. J.D. Davis will start at third base while Bregman heads to the bench.

Segura went 2-for-6 with a solo home run, two runs scored and a strikeout in Tuesday's win over the Athletics.

Segura blasted a solo home run in the third inning for his 10th long ball of the year. While he's hit just .205 over 73 at-bats since the start of the month, the 28-year-old is still hitting .303 on the year and sits just two RBI away from matching the career-high 64 he produced in 2016.

Bregman went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Bregman gave Houston an early lead with a two-run homer in the first inning. It was Bregman's 31st homer of the season and snapped a drought of 14 games without one, a stretch in which the third baseman hit just .163 (8-for-49). With the Astros clinching the AL West on Tuesday, Bregman and other regulars may get some days off over the final five days of the regular season.

Duffy is on the bench Tuesday against the Yankees, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Duffy has gone hitless in his last three contests. Joey Wendle will slide over to third base in his absence, with Brandon Lowe starting at second base.

Chapman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Monday against the Mariners.

Chapman took Shawn Armstrong deep in the seventh inning to give the Athletics a 5-3 lead. He now has 24 home runs for the season, powered by the nine long balls he put up in August. He's posted an impressive sophomore campaign, hitting .280/.357/.516 across 600 plate appearances.

Donaldson is not in the lineup Monday against the White Sox, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Donaldson has hit just .219 in 10 games since joining Cleveland, though he has a pair of homers and a respectable enough .712 OPS. Yandy Diaz will start at third base Monday.

The Indians can afford to give their hardest-worked players some days off in the final week of the season with the team locked into the third seed in the AL playoffs. Adam Rosales will start in his place at second base.

Moncada is not in the lineup Monday against Cleveland.

Moncada will sit for the second time in September. Yolmer Sanchez will slide over to second base in his absence, with Jose Rondon at third base.

Astudillo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Astudillo gets a breather for the series finale after going 6-for-12 with two doubles and four RBI in his last three starts. Chris Gimenez starts behind the plate and will bat eighth for the Twins.

Devers went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-4 extra-innings loss to the Indians.

Devers has started three straight games at third base with Eduardo Nunez (hamstring) on the shelf, and he's given us the whole Devers package. He homered in each of the last two games and hit safely in all three starts but also impacted games with his fielding. Devers committed a costly error Friday, his league-leading 23rd among third basemen. He avoided being credited with a 24th on Saturday when a batted ball in the 11th inning was ruled an infield single. That runner came around to score the game-winning run. Manager Alex Cora told Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com that Devers has improved his plate approach by chasing fewer pitches and being less anxious in the batter's box. However, the manager will have a hard choice to make in the postseason: Devers is the better option offensively but Nunez is safer defensively. Devers would be tested in the field against righty-heavy lineups like the Yankees and Astros.
