Segura is day-to-day after spraining the tip of his right middle finger Saturday, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

His fantasy owners will have to check his daily lineup status, though it looks like he'll return before the end of the regular season. Segura will likely be replaced by Taylor Motter at shortstop -- as was the case Saturday -- for as long as he stays out.

Ramirez went 3-for-3 with a home run and four RBI on Saturday against the Mariners.

Ramirez led the Tribe on an 11-run rampage in an easy road victory. He's clobbered eight home runs this month, as he's been absolutely on fire at the dish, and he's certainly helping fantasy owners at the most important time of the season.

Segura left Saturday's game in the top of the ninth inning due to an apparent finger injury, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.

Johns said Segura appeared "to dislocate a finger on [a] play at second," but it's best to wait on specifics of the injury until the team announces it. The Mariners' waning playoff chances would be dealt a significant blow if Segura has to miss time with a little more than one week in the regular season remaining. Taylor Motter replaced Segura at shortstop upon his departure.

Urshela will start at third base Saturday for the fourth game in a row.

Urshela has usurped the starting third-base job from Yandy Diaz, at least for the time being it appears. He will hit eighth in the batting order Saturday against Mariners starter Andrew Moore.

Longoria went 1-for-5 with a solo homer in Friday's 8-3 win over the Orioles.

Longoria's 353-foot shot to left in the third extended the Rays' lead to 5-2, serving as his first round tripper since Sept. 6 and only his third since the beginning of August. The veteran third baseman has had a solid month at the plate despite the lack of pop (four extra-base hits over 80 plate appearances), hitting .284 and driving in 11 runs.

Bregman will hit leadoff in Saturday's game against the Angels.

George Springer has been in the leadoff spot for all but one game since Aug. 14, but he'll sit Saturday, giving Bregman a chance to hit atop the order for the second time this season.

Devers went 2-for-4 with a double and a three-run homer Friday against the Reds.

Devers smashed his ninth homer of the season as part of a four-run fourth inning that helped deliver the Red Sox a come-from-behind victory. After raking throughout the months of July and August, he's hit just a single homer this month although he's still batting over .300 in September.

Moncada went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run during Friday's win over Kansas City.

Moncada has caught fire of late with at least one hit in 11 of his past 13 games for five round trippers, 15 runs and 11 RBI. It's encouraging to see the rookie finding a groove and rewarding patient fantasy owners down the stretch. If he continues to post solid numbers through the end of the year, his stock will skyrocket entering 2018 drafts.

Candelario went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Thursday's 12-1 loss to the Twins.

The 23-year-old third baseman collected a third of the team's hits and its only RBI in a forgettable game. While the Tigers have been miserable lately, Candelario has been producing, as he's now got a .294/.385/.471 slash line. He should be the Opening Day starter at third in 2018, and he's definitely a young player worth watching.

Machado went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Thursday's 3-1 win over the Rays.

Machado's two-run shot in the first inning made it 2-0 before Rays starter Matt Andriese could record a single out. The star slugger was almost kept out of the lineup due to an illness, but manager Buck Showalter's decision to dress Machado paid off big time in what ended as a two-run victory. While a slow start had the infielder slashing just .238/.306/.426 back on July 29, Machado's season line is up to .264/.318/.487 now.
