Durbin went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in a loss to the Giants on Monday.
Durbin accounted for both of Milwaukee's runs in the contest with his two-run shot to left-center in the second inning. The rookie third baseman showed the ability to hit for a bit of power with 10 homers in 82 games in Triple-A last season, though speed is likely to be his calling card in the majors. Durbin has one theft to his name as a big-leaguer so far and has gone 3-for-15 through four contests.

Braves' Austin Riley: Goes deep in victory
Riley went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, an additional run and a walk in a 7-6 win against St. Louis on Monday.
Riley put Atlanta on the board and knotted the score at 2-2 with his two-run blast in the third inning. The long ball helped snap a mini-slump for Riley that included a 2-for-17 mark and just one RBI with nine strikeouts over his previous four games. The veteran third baseman has hit well overall so far in 2025, though, slashing .278/.316/.522 with six homers, 15 RBI and 12 runs over 95 plate appearances.

Marlins' Eric Wagaman: Goes deep, swipes bag
Wagaman went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a steal in Monday's win over the Reds.
Wagaman's third homer of the year was a solo shot in the fifth inning. He later singled and stole a base in the seventh. Wagaman is on a nine-game hitting streak, going 13-for-33 (.394) with six extra-base hits during that span. His season OPS is up to .815 through 71 plate appearances.

Mets' Mark Vientos: Remains idle Monday
Vientos (groin) remains out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
Vientos was forced to leave Saturday's game against the Cardinals and will miss a second straight start, though he did take ground balls Monday and is scheduled to hit later in the afternoon, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports. With Vientos still idle, Brett Baty will make the start at third base and bat eighth against Aaron Nola.

Reds' Jeimer Candelario: Sitting again Monday
Candelario is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.
Candelario isn't starting for the second straight day, as the Reds are running it back with Spencer Steer at first base and Noelvi Marte at third against Max Meyer after Cincinnati hung 24 runs on the Orioles in Sunday's win. Candelario is slashing just .125/.263/.375 over the last seven days.

Marlins' Connor Norby: Swipes first bag in win
Norby went 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and a stolen base in Sunday's 7-5 extra-inning win over the Phillies.
Norby stole his first bag of the season in the first inning and later tallied his first extra-base hit with a double in the sixth. Since making his season debut Thursday, the 24-year-old has gone 5-for-16 with four runs scored and a stolen base. While the Marlins' lineup figures to rank near the bottom of the league, Norby batted third Sunday and is coming off a 2024 campaign in which he tallied nine homers and three steals across 194 plate appearances.

Reds' Noelvi Marte: Smacks grand slam, plates seven
Marte went 5-for-7 with a homer, two doubles, seven RBI and three runs scored in Sunday's 24-2 blowout at Baltimore.
Marte popped his first career grand slam off position-player pitcher Jorge Mateo in the eighth inning. The 23-year-old also set a new single-game career high in RBI with seven, easily besting his previous mark of three set Sept. 30, 2023. Marte entered this game with just one hit (1-for-12) but now boasts a .316/.350/.579 slash line across 20 plate appearances.

Suarez is not in the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Cubs.
It's the first day off of the season for Suarez, who has six home runs and six RBI through 21 games but is batting just .145 with a 33.3 percent strikeout rate. Garrett Hampson is starting at third base Sunday while Tim Tawa mans the keystone.
