Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Muncy likely won't need a CT scan on his right wrist, Matthew Moreno of DodgerBlue.com reports.

Roberts noted that the third baseman's improvement from Saturday to Sunday was enough to forego the imaging. That's an encouraging development for Muncy, who hasn't played since being hit on the right wrist by a pitch Friday. The manager had already suggested that Muncy probably won't be available Monday for the opening of a three-game set versus Colorado, but it sounds like he could return to the lineup as soon as Tuesday.

Rengifo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

He'll head to the bench for the third time in four games and looks to have moved into a utility role while Joey Ortiz has at least temporarily reclaimed his job at shortstop. Rengifo's downturn in opportunities comes while he's mustered a lowly .489 OPS in May.

Sanoja will start at third base and bat ninth in Sunday's game against the Mets.

Sanoja will remain in the lineup for the fourth time in five games and will occupy the hot corner for the second time during that stretch. Third base has been a revolving door for Miami this season, and Sanoja would need a sustained run of success at the dish in order to hold off the recently recalled Graham Pauley for playing time at the position. Over 113 plate appearances, Sanoja has produced a modest .250/.310/.346 slash line with one home run and three stolen bases.

Muncy (wrist) is not in the Dodgers' starting lineup against the Brewers on Sunday.

Muncy will end up sitting for the last two games of the weekend series against Milwaukee after he was hit on the wrist by a pitch in Friday's contest. Miguel Rojas will draw the start at the hot corner and bat ninth in Sunday's series finale.

Rengifo isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dodgers.

Rengifo will grab a seat on the bench Saturday after going 1-for-4 during Friday's series opener. His absence will move David Hamilton over to third base while Joey Ortiz starts at shortstop.

Muncy (wrist) isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Brewers.

The 35-year-old wasn't likely to play Saturday anyway, with southpaw Robert Gasser set to take the mound for Milwaukee. Santiago Espinal will man the hot corner and bat ninth.

Chapman went 1-for-3 with a double, a walk and a run scored in Friday's 9-4 loss to the White Sox.

Chapman lined a double to right field in the sixth inning before coming around to score San Francisco's final run. The veteran third baseman has recorded at least one hit in five of his last six games, batting .304 with five runs scored and two RBI in 26 plate appearances during that span. Overall, he's slashing .228/.305/.317 with 21 runs scored, 16 RBI and one home run in 210 plate appearances this season.

Riley went 3-for-3 with three singles, one walk and a run scored in Friday's 5-4 extra-innings win over the Nationals.

Riley walked and scored in the seventh inning and singled in all three other trips to the plate before Jorge Mateo pinch ran for him in a 2-2 game in the bottom of the ninth. Riley ended the month of April with a .190 average and .588 OPS. He has six multi-hit games and five homers in May, raising his season slash line to .221/.292/.385 with eight homers, 31 RBI, 27 runs scored, three stolen bases and a 16:59 BB:K across 216 plate appearances.

Machado went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 7-3 win over the Athletics.

This was Machado's second homer over the last three games as his power starts to come back a bit. He's still scuffling, having hit safely in just six of his last 12 contests and going 6-for-45 (.133) with three homers, six RBI and 14 strikeouts in that span. On the season, the third baseman is batting .179 with a .618 OPS, eight homers, 24 RBI, 26 runs scored, one stolen base and five doubles over 48 games.
