Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN
Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Records triple
Hayes went 1-for-4 with a triple and a run scored Tuesday against the Cubs.
Hayes led off the bottom of the first inning with a triple and was immediately driven in by Bryan Reynolds. Hayes has struggled to display home run power this season, but he has four extra-base hits across his last 10 games. Across 263 plate appearances, he has 29 runs scored and eight stolen bases while maintaining a .265 batting average.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Homers again in loss
McMahon went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double, a walk and two additional RBI during Tuesday's 9-8 loss at Miami.
The 27-year-old produced his first three-hit game of the season over the weekend against San Diego, and he did it for a second time Tuesday while launching his sixth homer. McMahon has a .246/.351/.415 slash line with two home runs and 14 RBI through 19 games in June.

Eduardo Escobar 3B | TOR
Mets' Eduardo Escobar: Goes yard in loss
Escobar went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 8-2 loss to the Astros.
Escobar went deep in the seventh inning for his first homer since June 6. The infielder has hit safely in his last two games since snapping an 0-for-18 skid. He still owns a lackluster .230/.292/.395 slash line with six long balls, 29 RBI, 30 runs scored, 16 doubles and three triples across 271 plate appearances this year.

Buddy Kennedy 3B | SEA
Diamondbacks' Buddy Kennedy: Exits with wrist injury
Kennedy was removed from Tuesday's game against the Padres with left wrist discomfort.
Kennedy appeared to tweak something when he struck out swinging during the top of fourth inning, and he was replaced in the field for the bottom of the frame. The severity of the 23-year-old's wrist injury remains unclear, and he should be considered day-to-day until his status is updated.

Patrick Wisdom 3B | SEA
Cubs' Patrick Wisdom: Delivers offense Tuesday
Wisdom went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and a solo home run in Tuesday's loss to the Pirates.
The Cubs had just six hits as a team and fell 7-1, but Wisdom still delivered a nice stat line. His .222 batting average leaves plenty to be desired in that category, but the third baseman does now lead the squad with 13 home runs, one ahead of Willson Contreras. Wisdom is also second on the team with 32 RBI, so he's provided his share of fantasy value despite not being a great contact hitter.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Sitting again Tuesday
Machado (ankle) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Machado will be held out of the lineup for the second consecutive game after suffering a left ankle sprain Sunday against the Rockies. Acting manager Ryan Flaherty previously said the team didn't believe a trip to to the injured list would be necessary, and nothing else has been reported to indicate that outlook has changed. Ha-Seong Kim will again slide over the third base in place of Machado while CJ Abrams starts at shortstop.

Brian Anderson RF | ATL
Marlins' Brian Anderson: Should begin rehab assignment soon
Anderson (back) is on track to begin a minor-league rehab assignment later this weekend, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.
If cleared to report to a minor-league affiliate, Anderson could need multiple games to regain his timing at the plate, so the Marlins aren't likely to activate him for their weekend series versus the Mets. Anderson has been on the shelf since June 1 with a mild disc bulge in his lumbar spine.

Warming Bernabel 3B | WAS
Rockies' Warming Bernabel: Showing aggression on basepaths
Bernabel has stolen 17 bases across 250 plate appearances with Single-A Fresno in 2022.
Bernabel's aggression on the basepaths has increased dramatically, as he combined to steal only 12 bases across his first 331 career minor-league plate appearances. It remains to be seen whether he can translate his baserunning ability to the upper levels of the minors, as he has largely been regarded as an average to slightly below-average runner by traditional scouting methods. In addition to his speed, however, Bernabel has also showcased considerable power by slugging six home runs and 19 doubles -- good for a .171 ISO. Bernabel just turned 20 years old, so it will be worth watching his progress as he advances through the Rockies' system.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Not starting Monday
Machado (ankle) is on the bench for Monday's game against Arizona, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
Machado left Sunday's game against the Rockies with a left ankle sprain after he stepped awkwardly on first base. He doesn't yet have a clear timeline for his return, but he'll miss at least one game, with acting manager Ryan Flaherty saying the team was optimistic he'd be able to avoid the injured list, per AJ Cassavell of MLB.com. CJ Abrams, who was recalled Monday to give the Padres extra infield depth with Machado unavailable, will enter the lineup at shortstop, with Ha-Seong Kim sliding to cover Machado's vacated spot at third base.

Kevin Newman 3B | LAA
Pirates' Kevin Newman: Cleared for rehab assignment
Newman (groin/hamstring) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment at Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday, Rob Biertempfel of The Athletic reports.
Newman is one of three injured Pirates position players who will kick off his rehab assignment at Indianapolis this week, with first baseman/designated hitter Yoshi Tsutsugo (back) and infielder Josh VanMeter (finger) set to join him. Prior to landing on the injured list, both Newman and VanMeter were holding down regular roles in the middle infield, but both could have to settle for reserve duties upon their respective returns. Top prospect Oneil Cruz was called up from Indianapolis on Monday and should serve as the Pirates' everyday shortstop moving forward, likely leaving Newman and VanMeter to vie for time at the keystone with a pair of rookies -- Diego Castillo and Tucupita Marcano (illness) -- once they're activated from the IL.
