Peterson's contract was selected by the Brewers on Saturday.

The 30-year-old impressed in camp but has had lackluster results in previous major-league action.

This was the second multi-hit game in the last five for Escobar, who is 6-for-18 with two home runs, a double, six RBI and four runs scored during that stretch.
