Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE
Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Swipes 13th base
Ramirez went 1-for-4 with a stolen base Sunday in a 5-1 loss in Kansas City.
Ramirez singled and stole second base in the first inning but was left stranded. While the veteran has an impressive 38:34 BB:K, he has struck out more recently, fanning 11 times and walking just three times in his last 10 games. However, with 13 stolen bases and 17 homers, he has a chance to record his second career 30-30 season.

Nick Madrigal 2B | LAA
Cubs' Nick Madrigal: Tweaks groin in rehab game
Madrigal was removed Sunday during his third rehab game with Triple-A Iowa after experiencing renewed tightness in his strained left groin, Meghan Montemurro of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Madrigal will be pulled off the rehab assignment and will return to Chicago to have his injury further evaluated. Even if the setback proves to be only a minor concern, the 25-year-old will more than likely be held out through the All-Star break to get more recovery time from the injury that has kept him on the shelf since mid-June.

Abraham Toro 1B | BOS
Mariners' Abraham Toro: On bench Sunday
Toro is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.
He'll be on the bench for the second time in four contests after having recently completed a nine-game run in the starting nine. With Jesse Winker set to return from suspension for Tuesday's game in Washington, Toro's opportunities may become more scarce in the final week before the All-Star break.

Buddy Kennedy 3B | SF
Diamondbacks' Buddy Kennedy: Heads to bench Sunday
Kennedy is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.
After going 2-for-4 with a run scored in Saturday's 9-2 win over the Rockies, Kennedy will take a seat for the series finale. Though he's on the bench for the second time in three games, Kennedy still looks like the Diamondbacks' preferred option at the keystone over Sergio Alcantara, who draws the start at the position Sunday.
-
Matt Chapman 3B | SF
Blue Jays' Matt Chapman: Not starting Sunday
Chapman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.
Chapman will sit Sunday after posting a .597 OPS and 27.8 percent strikeout rate in his past nine games. Santiago Espinal will shift to the hot corner while Cavan Biggio starts at second base.
-
Kevin Newman 3B | LAA
Pirates' Kevin Newman: Finds regular home at second base
Newman will start at second base and bat leadoff in Sunday's game against the Brewers.
Though rookie Oneil Cruz took over as Pittsburgh's everyday shortstop during his prolonged stay on the injured list, Newman looks like he'll get regular run at second base after being activated Friday. He'll man the keystone for the third straight game Sunday after going 2-for-8 with a run scored in the previous two contests.
-
Jace Peterson SS | ARI
Brewers' Jace Peterson: Heads to bench Sunday
Peterson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.
The lefty-hitting Peterson will retreat to the bench with southpaw Jose Quintana on the mound, opening up a spot in the outfield for Jonathan Davis, who sat out the past two contests. Peterson had started each of the past four games in right field, going 3-for-12 with a double, an RBI, a run and a stolen base.
-
Jeimer Candelario 3B | LAA
Tigers' Jeimer Candelario: Sitting out Sunday
Candelario is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.
With four hits -- including a home run -- to go with two walks, four RBI and four runs over his last four starts, Candelario's dormant bat is beginning to warm up. He'll give way at third base to Harold Castro in Sunday's series finale, but Candelario still looks like the top option on the depth chart.

Gio Urshela 3B | MIN
Twins' Gio Urshela: Not starting Sunday
Urshela is out of the lineup for Sunday's game at Texas, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.
Urshela started the past three games and will receive Sunday off after going 5-for-12 with a double, a home run, two RBI and three runs scored during that stretch. Jose Miranda will take over at the hot corner in the series finale.

Nick Senzel 3B | LAD
Reds' Nick Senzel: Sitting Sunday
Senzel is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays.
In addition to plating two runs in Saturday's 5-4 win, Senzel has also recorded a pair of hits in both of the first two games of the series with the Rays, lifting his season average to .262. Though Albert Almora will get a look in center field in Sunday's series finale, Senzel still looks like the Reds' preferred option at the position.
