DJ LeMahieu 2B | NYY
Yankees' DJ LeMahieu: Shows off power Sunday
LeMahieu went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Sunday's 10-2 win over Cleveland.
LeMahieu had a 10-game hitting streak heading into Sunday's matchup, but he had just three runs and three RBI during that time. However, he was more effective at producing runs during the blowout win over the Guardians since he stepped up with two extra-base hits. The 33-year-old has a .924 OPS with two homers, three doubles, seven RBI and five runs in 15 games this year.

Matt Reynolds 3B | CIN
Reds' Matt Reynolds: Claimed by Cincinnati
Reynolds was claimed off waivers by the Reds on Sunday, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
The 31-year-old was designated for assignment by the Mets on Wednesday and will now join the Reds. Ryan Hendrix, who was removed from the 40-man roster in a corresponding move, had been pitching for Triple-A Louisville, so the Reds will have to make another transaction to clear a spot on the 28-man active roster for Reynolds. Expect him to fill a utility role in the infield for the banged-up Reds.

Ramon Urias 3B | STL
Orioles' Ramon Urias: Resting Sunday
Urias is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
After going 2-for-12 at the dish while starting each of the past three games, Urias will take a seat in what likely amounts to a maintenance day. Kelvin Gutierrez replaces Urias at third base.

Patrick Wisdom 3B | SEA
Cubs' Patrick Wisdom: Still getting solid playing time
Wisdom will start at third base and bat eighth in Sunday's game against the Pirates.
Though Jonathan Villar has seemingly leapfrogged Wisdom in the pecking order at third base, both players' ability to bounce around between multiple positions should help them occupy near full-time roles. Wisdom will make his fourth straight Sunday -- with three coming at the hot corner -- while Villar fills in at shortstop for a resting Nico Hoerner. Wisdom is coming off one of his best games of the season Saturday, when he went 1-for-4 with two walks, two runs and an RBI in the Cubs' 21-0 win.

Jake Burger 1B | TEX
White Sox's Jake Burger: Takes seat Sunday
Burger is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins.
Danny Mendick will get a turn at third base while Burger gets a breather for the series finale. Burger made eight starts over the White Sox's last 10 games, slashing a meager .207/.207/.310 with a 31 percent strikeout rate during that stretch.

Edmundo Sosa 2B | PHI
Cardinals' Edmundo Sosa: Threat to DeJong's starting role
Sosa will start at shortstop and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Reds.
Sosa will pick up his second start in three days with Paul DeJong mired in a 5-for-36 slump (.139 average) to begin the season. According to Katie Woo of The Athletic, manager Oliver Marmol said it's "too early" to say that DeJong's standing atop the depth chart is in question, but the skipper noted that the 28-year-old will remain out of the lineup Monday against Mets right-hander Max Scherzer. Expect Sosa to pick up another start Monday, and he could have a chance to make a legitimate run at the everyday shortstop job if he impresses over the next two days.

Eugenio Suarez DH | CIN
Mariners' Eugenio Suarez: Reaches base four more times
Suarez went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two walks, a run and an RBI in a 13-7 victory over Kansas City.
Suarez doubled and scored in the third inning, walked in the fourth, doubled home a run in the sixth and walked in the eighth to reach base four times for the first time this season. The 30-year-old has been on a tear against Kansas City this weekend as he's gone 5-for-7 with two walks and has significantly improved his slash line to .260/.373/.540 with the exceptional performances. Suarez's OPS alone has jumped 148 points from .765 to .913 over the two games.

Nick Madrigal 3B | LAA
Cubs' Nick Madrigal: Back in lineup Sunday
Madrigal is starting at second base and batting ninth in Sunday's game against the Pirates.
Madrigal rested Saturday and missed the fun during a 21-0 Chicago romp. The Cubs are finding ways to get Jonathan Villar into the lineup regularly, and he played second base Saturday, pushing Madrigal to the bench. Villar shifts to shortstop Sunday, so Madrigal returns and Nico Hoerner gets the day off. Madrigal has yet to do much at the plate with a .565 OPS, no home runs and just one RBI, and his place at the bottom of the order limits his fantasy appeal somewhat.

Brian Anderson RF | ATL
Marlins' Brian Anderson: Steps out of lineup
Anderson is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
The 28-year-old started six of the past seven games (three at third base, three in the outfield), but he'll head to the bench for Sunday's series finale. Anderson has a .250/.429/.313 slash line with two doubles, an RBI, six runs and a stolen bases through 12 games and has seen regular playing time early on in 2022 despite operating in a utility role.

Alex Bregman 3B | CHC
Astros' Alex Bregman: Slugs third homer
Bregman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Saturday against Toronto.
Bregman got the Astros on the board with a two-run home run in the first inning, his third long ball of the season and first since April 8. Though the power production hasn't been consistent, Bregman has collected at least one hit in four of his last five games. Overall, he's hitting .271/.357/.500 across 56 plate appearances.
