Muncy is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against Atlanta, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Muncy started the past nine games and will receive Saturday off after posting a .219/.375/.313 slash line during that stretch. Justin Turner will shift to third base while catcher Will Smith rests his legs as the designated hitter.

Peterson is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Blue Jays.
Peterson started the past four games and went 2-for-13 with an RBI, a run and six strikeouts, and he'll take a seat Saturday with left-hander Yusei Kikuchi on the mound for Toronto. Mike Brosseau will man the hot corner and bat sixth for Milwaukee.

Hayes (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rays.
The 25-year-old will be withheld from the lineup for the second straight game after suffering the left shoulder injury on a collision at home pate Thursday. Hayes avoided a serious injury but is dealing with some soreness, so he should be considered day-to-day. While he hasn't yet resumed swinging, he felt better Saturday and fielded grounders prior to the game, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports. Hoy Park will man the hot corner Saturday for Pittsburgh.

LeMahieu will head to the bench after starting the past six games, a stretch in which he went 6-for-23 (.261) with one double, five walks, two RBI and two runs. Gleyber Torres will man the keystone and bat fifth for New York.

Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 6-3 win over the Guardians.
Devers was back in the lineup after getting an off-day Wednesday and cranked his team-leading 17th homer. The 25-year-old third baseman is blossoming into one of the league's best hitters, ranking fourth in average (.331), sixth in slugging (.612) and sixth in OPS (.998). Devers has not gone more than one game without a base hit this season.

Giants' Evan Longoria: Goes yard in loss
Longoria went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Reds.
Longoria's hitting streak is up to five games, during which he's gone 7-for-18 (.389). The third baseman hadn't homered since May 30 prior to Friday's long ball in the fourth inning. He's slashing .238/.322/.457 with six homers, 13 RBI, 13 runs scored and five doubles through 36 contests overall.

Suarez went 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI, a run scored and a walk in Friday's 4-3 win over the Angels.
Suarez opened the scoring with an RBI single in the first inning and remained strong throughout the contest. Prior to Friday, he'd gone just 3-for-27 across his last seven games. The third baseman has a .232/.327/.441 slash line with 13 home runs, 37 RBI, 35 runs scored, 14 doubles and a triple through 303 plate appearances.

White Sox's Yoan Moncada: Could return Tuesday
Moncada (hamstring) could return from the injured list when first eligible Tuesday, James Fegan of The Athletic reports.
Moncada missed over a month at the start of the season with an oblique injury and lasted less than six weeks before returning to the injured list, this time with a strained hamstring. His latest issue seems to be less significant than his first, though it remains to be seen if he will indeed make it back after the minimum 10 days.

Padres' Manny Machado: Still not starting
Machado (ankle) isn't in the lineup for Friday's game against the Phillies, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.
While the Padres remain hopeful that Machado will avoid a trip to the injured list, he'll remain out of the lineup for a fifth consecutive game due to his sprained left ankle. However, he took part in a light workout prior to Thursday's series opener against the Phillies. Ha-Seong Kim is starting at third base while CJ Abrams takes over at shortstop Friday.
