Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said over the weekend that he anticipates Muncy (oblique) spending the minimum 10 days on the injured list, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Roberts' comments imply some level of confidence that Muncy is dealing with a low-grade strain to his right oblique, but given the volatile timetables typically associated with this type of injury, it's hardly a given that the 30-year-old will be ready to return from the IL when first eligible June 22. Muncy will travel with the Dodgers for their six-game, two-city road trip that begins Friday, and he'll likely need to prove his health in batting practice and fielding and baserunning drills during the upcoming weekend in order to guarantee a brief IL stint.

LeMahieu went 2-for-4 in Sunday's loss to Philadelphia for his fourth multi-hit game over his past five contests.

One of the most surprising early season developments for the Yankees has been LeMahieu's struggles at the plate. Through his first 56 contests, he was batting a meager .253 after posting a career-best and AL-leading .364 average in 2020. The veteran has begun to turn things around of late, however, raising his average eight points since June 8 and collecting exactly two hits in four of his five games during that span. LeMahieu's decline this season has some substance behind it -- his 16.7 percent strikeout rate is on pace for his worst mark since 2015, and his .082 ISO pales in comparison to the .226 mark he posted last season -- but there is still plenty of time for him to turn things around. Fantasy managers who used substantial draft capital to add LeMahieu to their 2021 squad may be best served to hope his recent offensive surge builds rather than to cast him off after his slow start.

Suarez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's win over the Rockies.

There's been a lot of talk regarding Suarez's down year on offense, but the third baseman seems to be on the right path to turn things around and has hit safely in all but three of his appearances this month. He's hitting just .225 in 40 at-bats in June, but even that's an upgrade considering he hit just .186 in May and .130 in April.

Chapman went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Royals.

Chapman slammed a first inning home run off Kris Bubic to get the Athletics on the board early Sunday. The 28-year-old has homered in back-to-back games. He is slashing .221/.321/.374 with seven homers, 29 RBI and 28 runs in 265 plate appearances.

Riley went 3-for-3 with a home run, three RBI, a walk and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-4 win over Miami.

The third baseman entered Sunday 0-for-16 over his last four games. He snapped the skid with a two-RBI single in the first inning to get Atlanta on the board. Riley added a solo shot in the third for his 12th homer of the year. The 24-year-old is slashing .299/.384/.517 with 30 RBI and 34 runs scored across 244 plate appearances in a breakout season. He's had some streaky moments, but there's been more good than bad through 62 games.

Machado went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 7-3 win over the Mets.

The third baseman capped off a six-run seventh inning for San Diego with a solo shot to follow Fernando Tatis' grand slam. Machado has gone yard three times in the last eight games, adding seven RBI and three runs scored in that span. For the year, he's slashing .242/.327/.423 with nine homers, 38 RBI, 29 runs scored and six stolen bases.

Walls went 3-for-4 with two RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 7-1 win over Baltimore.

All three of the shortstop's hits were singles. Walls also stole second and scored on a Yandy Diaz single in the third inning, then followed up with a two-RBI single in the fourth. Through 71 plate appearances, Walls is slashing .250/.366/.367 with a home run, seven RBI, eight runs scored and three steals. The rookie is known more for speed than power, but his fantasy impact is limited since he frequently hits in the bottom half of the order.

Astudillo remains out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Astros.

Though he offers multi-positional versatility for a Twins squad that remains without several key position players due to injury, Astudillo looks like he'll stick in a bench role for the foreseeable future. The 29-year-old hasn't proven deserving of a regular spot in the lineup after slashing a meager .252/.263/.391 through 118 plate appearances this season.

Peterson will start in left field and bat fifth Sunday against the Pirates.

After starting in each of the Brewers' previous three contests, Peterson will stick in the lineup for a fourth straight contest, this time replacing a resting Christian Yelich. Peterson has reached base at a .385 clip over the past three games, and he looks like he'll have his clearest plan to the keystone in the short term while Kolten Wong (oblique) is on the 10-day injured list.

Devers is not in the starting lineup Sunday against Toronto, Christopher Smith of The Springfield Republican reports.

Devers will get a well-deserved breather for at least the beginning portion of the series finale. Bobby Dalbec will shift to the hot corner with Danny Santana set to man first base Sunday.
