Escobar went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, a second run scored and a stolen base in Wednesday's 8-2 win over the Dodgers.

He blasted his 18th homer of the year in the first inning off rookie Tony Gonsolin to give the D-backs a 4-0 lead, and they never looked back. Escobar hadn't gone yard since June 10, slashing a woeful .180/.271/.200 through 14 games between the home runs, but despite the slump he remains on pace for career highs in all five main fantasy categories.

Riley is not in Wednesday's lineup against the Cubs.

Riley has started the past 11 games, slashing .233/.313/.465 with two home runs and a 37.5 percent strikeout rate during that stretch. Johan Camargo is starting in left field and hitting eighth in his stead Wednesday.

Candelario was recalled from Triple-A Toledo on Wednesday.

Dawel Lugo was sent to Triple-A following Tuesday's loss to the Rangers, opening up a spot on the roster for Candelario to rejoin the Tigers after a brief stay in the minors. The 25-year-old Candelario slashed .333/.364/.595 with two home runs and 11 RBI during his most recent stint with the Mud Hens (10 games). He'll look to carry that momentum back to the majors, where he's hitting just .179 with a .546 OPS through 42 games this season.

Longoria is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Rockies, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Longoria will take a seat for Wednesday's series finale after starting the past three games and going 2-for-12 with a trio of strikeouts and a run scored. In his place, Pablo Sandoval is starting at the hot corner and hitting third.

Moncada exited Wednesday's game against the Red Sox due to a right knee contusion.

Moncada sustained the injury when he was hit by a Chris Sale offering during his first at-bat of the afternoon. While early indications are that the infielder avoided a potentially more serious injury, he'll continue to be evaluated in the coming days before the White Sox determine his status for Friday's series opener against the Twins. Consider Moncada day-to-day for now.

Moncada was removed from Wednesday's game against the Red Sox with an apparent injury, Paul Sullivan of the Chicago Tribune reports.

Moncada was hit by a pitch in the right knee during his first at-bat. While he initially stayed in the game and took his base, the infielder was eventually replaced by a pinch runner (Yolmer Sanchez). Specifics regarding the injury should emerge once Moncada is further evaluated in the coming days.

Devers went 4-for-4 with three doubles, two runs and an RBI in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the White Sox.

With Andrew Benintendi (undisclosed) sitting out, Devers occupied the two hole for just the third time all season and turned in a huge performance. He's now hitting .300 with an .870 OPS in June, which includes 12 extra-base hits in 22 games. He'll get another turn as the No. 2 hitter in the series finale Wednesday while Benintendi remains on the bench.

Machado went 2-for-4 with a home run, two RBI and a walk in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Orioles.

Machado received a standing ovation in his return to the city where he spent the first seven years of his career, and he looked right at home Tuesday at Camden Yards. The 26-year-old currently has a 12-game hit streak in which he is 25-for-53 (.471 average) with six doubles and six home runs.

Muncy is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Muncy sits against southpaw Robbie Ray. Austin Barnes moves out to second base in his absence, with Will Smith serving as the catcher.

Muncy went 1-for-4 with a walk and three RBI in Monday's 8-5 loss to the Diamondbacks.

The three RBI matched Muncy's total from the previous eight games combined, but that was mostly a result of the hitters in front of him not getting in scoring position as often. Muncy remained an on-base machine over that stretch, slashing .296/.441/.444 while striking out just four times.
