Suarez went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI on Sunday against the Twins.

Suarez has been a mixed bag since his return from the disabled list, posting two hitless games and two multi-hit games. While he has yet to go deep, he does have two doubles, so it doesn't appear that his hand is causing him further discomfort. He has been locked into the fifth spot in the lineup, which should give him plenty of opportunities to drive in runs batting behind Joey Votto, Scooter Gennett and Jose Peraza, all of whom can get on base at a decent clip.

Alvarez went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Sunday's 5-3 win over the Tigers.

Alvarez was a late addition to the lineup after Danny Valencia was scratched with hamstring tightness. Alvarez ended up being Baltimore's primary source of offensive production, as he hit his fifth and sixth home runs of the season. While Sunday's performance was great, Alvarez may be at risk of seeing a drop in playing time in the near future with Mark Trumbo (quadriceps) approaching his return from the disabled list.

Candelario went 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, a run scored and an RBI in Sunday's loss to the Orioles.

Candelario rested on Thursday, apparently due to a sore wrist. The young third baseman is now wearing a wrist brace when he reaches base to provide extra support when he puts his hand down during a slide. It certainly doesn't look like Candelario's wrist is slowing him down at the plate, as he's now hitting .282 with an .886 OPS.

Longoria went 1-for-4 with a three-run homer in Sunday's win over the Dodgers.

Longoria has gotten off to a bit of a slow start, but the bat is finally starting to come alive. In his last three games, the 32-year-old is hitting .417 (5-for-12) with two home runs, a double, three runs scored and six RBI. The blast was his sixth of the year, to go along with a .247/.278/.527 slash line.

Valencia is dealing with hamstring tightness, although the injury isn't expected to be overly concerning, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.

Valencia was scratched from Sunday's lineup after experiencing some discomfort in his leg while warming up. The Orioles have Monday off, so consider Valencia day-to-day heading into Tuesday's game against the Angels.

Farmer will start at third base and bat eighth Sunday against the Giants, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Farmer is in the lineup for the third time in four games and looks poised to receive the bulk of the playing time at the hot corner until the Dodgers get either Justin Turner (wrist) or Logan Forsythe (shoulder) back from the 10-day disabled list. The 27-year-old has earned the increased opportunities by reaching base at a .372 clip through 43 plate appearances this season, but a lack of power or speed and a low slot in the batting order limit Farmer's fantasy upside.

Senzel (shoulder) was scratched Sunday from Triple-A Louisville's lineup for the club's game against Toledo, John Wagner of The Toledo Blade reports.

Louisville initially listed Senzel as its designated hitter and No. 2 hitter for the day, but the team evidently decided it was best to give the the 22-year-old another day off while he manages a left shoulder injury. The fact that Senzel was close to playing one day after suffering a jammed shoulder indicates that a trip to the 7-day disabled list likely won't be in store for the Reds' top prospect.

Donaldson (shoulder) went 0-for-3 while serving as the designated hitter for High-A Dunedin in a rehab game Saturday.

According to Hazel Mae of Sportsnet, Blue Jays skipper John Gibbons said Sunday that Donaldson could be on pace to return from the 10-day disabled list next weekend, ahead of Toronto's three-game road set in Tampa. Donaldson's activation will likely be contingent on him playing third base and throwing across the diamond without any issue during the rehab assignment. The limitations the shoulder presented defensively for Donaldson were at the root of his placement on the DL earlier this month, as he had been slashing a palatable .239/.352/.457 prior to the shutdown.

Nationals manager Dave Martinez suggested that Rendon (toe) is unlikely to be activated from the 10-day disabled list ahead of Monday's game against the Pirates, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.

Rendon was first eligible to return from the DL on Sunday versus the Diamondbacks, but the club felt the third baseman needed a little more time to recover from the left toe injury. The 27-year-old was able to complete an on-field workout Sunday, reinforcing Martinez's belief that Rendon is coming along well and is close to returning. Rendon will likely do some more activity Monday with the hope of gaining clearance to play the following day.

Updating a previous report, Alvarez has been added to the Orioles' lineup for Sunday's game against the Tigers, according to Rich Dubroff of PressBoxonline.com. Alvarez will start at third base and bat seventh.

The Orioles would have preferred to keep Alvarez on the bench against Tigers lefty Daniel Norris, but Danny Valencia's late scratch due to an undisclosed issue forced manager Buck Showalter to tinker with the lineup. Alvarez owns a .206/.272/.339 career batting line (69 wRC+) versus left-handed pitching.
